Since the "Blokees Transformers Model Kits" thread is only for Transformers, we need a place to talk about these amazing little block-model kits that are making more than just Transformer kits.

Not much of a thread contribution, but I have Wave 1 and 2 coming in soon of Spidey and his Amazing friends to build my with kids. Pretty excited that they're expanding their licensed properties!

 

every bit counts! I can't wait to see them! I passed on the Marvel Avengers line, but if they are getting Saint Seiya I will want them. I also need to pounce on the Kamen Rider stuff.

 

Hoping Pokemon Blokees will be a trainer figure.

 

i'm surprised about these since it seems that Mega Construx is doing well on them. At my Walmart, the ONLY Mega Construx stuff is Pokemon. No HALO, no He-Man, no Barbie...nothing else...not even the Hot Wheels cars they sell at Dollar General.

i prefer Blokees over Yolo Park minis (similar size)

 

I have the Avengers set and am hoping for a second series. They’re very well designed, stylized and made: like a cross between Playmobil and Xevoz. I bought mine from BLOKS. I haven’t heard of or seen the Spidey and his Amazing friends set but I don’t really know where to check to see everything Blokees makes.

 

did you do a review of them. I'm curious if their heads are made like the Ultraman one i have or better

 

I didn’t review them but the heads are multi-piece - mostly face, helmet/hair and back of head - on a ball-joint that snaps into the neck on the body. I can take a pic of the instructions later this week.

 

yeah, in my Ultraman video i show where mine broke. Up until then, I loved that little figure.

 

Ah, none of mine broke during assembly or play/posing. I’ll try to get pics of the instructions tomorrow if it might help.

 

If we're gwtt8ng blokee trainers, they'd probably pair pretty well with the megabloks pokemon figs

When built do these feel as sturdy as toys or still like assembled models?

 

Blokees feel like toys. The plastic is sturdy like LEGO or Playmobil.

 

there are parts i would glue on. I just built the third one, but i'll just wait until tomorrow to put that video out.
They are close enough to Blokees in quality, but there are fiddly bits on a few that need to be tweaked with glue, or paper towel bits inside to make them less wiggly.

 

oops, sorry, i meant to reply to you on that reply. the kits keep getting better. I'm half done with the box. I'm thinking of doing more but my camera isn't charging as quick as i'd like
