About prices: other than seeing closed eBay auctions, I really don't know. I ask guys I trust their opinion on various items. Morgan is great because he sells such a high volume publicly. Other guys are pretty quiet about prices, perhaps a proprietary type situation. Case in point: I was interested in acquiring an item for $4-5k; but the price I heard on it was 3x that. Don't see the item come up often, but maybe it's just a supply demand thing. Sellers always want the highest price and buyers want the lowest price, and people tend to not share the price paid because it's tantamount to asking how much you paid for your house. At best it is nosey, at worst is just rude. But there is still zillow! In closing, I'd welcome a price discussion, but I can't speak authoritatively on the subject like many others here.

I was originally winning this item and had met the reserve and was at about 425 with a few days to go yet. The seller killed the listing as he claimed he didn't know how rare his item is and I get that and know wants 1500 for this.

What would you guys consider a fair price for this?

 

Deceptigar, thats a hk special. So my answer would be no. No way in hell is it worth any more than the $425 you were going to pay for it.

 

How is it hk? It's not the same I have mine has the painted buzz saw this does not and has the ceiling copyrigh.

 

After really looking at that, i think im wrong, that may very well be legit. Its not misb, but the box looks to be real g1 issue. I think this is the first time i have seen a real french soundwave and not a hk special.

 

He says its sealed on both sides, I don't think he has sold it yet but what would you say about the price now?

 

Damn, wrong again. Didnt look hard enough. Yup misb. If i was a sw fan, id throw down 1500. And then id get it graded asap.

 

My thoughts exactly just don't have the cash but might try to haggle.

Thanks guys, they were 2 of the best specimens of those figures around but they had a couple of bumps along the way unfortunately so the 90 possibility was lost on both. Remember I posted pics of Mirage a little while back & asked you blokes for a grade prediction? See if you can pick what the differences(flaws) are from the raw pics to graded. I think the grade is spot on for the condition it's in now. I still think Windcharger looks like a 90 for me but dead mint mini cars get 85's mostly anyway so it is what it is. They did a great job of the acrylic case as always.

There seems to be a waviness and nick at the bottom of the window that wasn't there before on Mirage.

 

Thats it my man! It got a bump right on the window at the box edge & it has a small scuff on the bottom as well. Shame & frustrating as it was dead mint when it was shipped & in a sliding bottom case....

Hi guys. These are not graded, but are some of the nicest MISB that I have. I was just curious what the experts on this thread would think they would grade at. Since I've never had anything AFA'd. I was thinking they should at least score an 85? I'll do Ramjet here and Thrust in the next box.
