Hey stuff happens. They just need to own up to it and fix it. Not send me a 40 and tell me they will investigate it. I got an email saying that they safely received my submissions before they charged me. If they told me before they charged me I could have said don't grade it and opened an insurance claim if it had been damaged during shipping.

They have to make their money, first and foremost. Even if you tell them to return a figure in the event it's been tampered with, they still note that grading costs will apply. All they're doing is looking out for themselves. Hey, I get that stuff happens, even with the best of them...but this is too common of an occurrence there, and they definitely need to take responsibility for their mistakes.

    Credit card charge backs.

Everyone screwed with should file one.

It would get their attention real quick.

Right, but if it is damaged when they get it they should notify you. If there is damage to the package. Refused is different. I finally got a call from Kim. She said that the grader noticed it right away and assumed I had been notified.

Of course, but I was under the impression it wasn't damaged when it arrived since you were told it arrived safely. Either someone didn't do their job or they're trying to cover their tracks here.

Most definitely. What type of damage was there? Was it strictly to the box or were the contents impacted as well?

Damn! Sorry to hear about that. I know I would be mad as hell if that happened to me. They get get payed a lot of money to case these figures. You would think they would use the utmost care at all times. Sounds like the operation is becoming like a fast food chain?

They don't mess up all of the time, happy, so I'm sure you'll be fine. Plus, the rest of us have taken the brunt of the damage lately, so the odds are in your favor to be on the good side of things. ;)

It's time to change the mood of this thread. Graded or not, this is what we're here for (sealed beauties). This one arrived today...a yellow pre-rub Cliffjumper, which goes nicely with my red pre-rub Cliffy.

Thanks, man. I was fortunate to find both of them with really nice cards. I love how they display.

Never ever ship these puppies! They are becoming fragile, especially the bubbles :(

Khop you are building quite the collection! Great figures! I admit I've been dragging my feet on shipping to AFA but my super duper membership lapses in November. I have a ton I've been waiting to send in. I'll bite the bullet and send them in next week.

I know. It's the primary reason why I want to keep them ungraded.

Thanks, Rock. I was considering purchasing their Platinum membership recently, but it's probably pretty obvious to many here that I won't be doing that now. Anyway, get 'em in while you can still take advantage of the perks. You've been warned, though. ;)
