Hey JK, sorry I can't contribute more in the way of actual toys. I have a few MOSC unpunched Joustra Diaclones, maybe they'd get decent grades but they aren't leaving my line of sight :lol

A European guy found some sealed Transformers in quad-lingual MB packaging including Blaster and Blitzwing, as well as cases of Joustra Diaclone cassettes.

His MBs are long gone but I'm sure he still has some cassettes left. It wasn't an exclusive Blaster case as far as I know though, I think it was some kind of assortment.

    All the best
    Maz

DAMMM! Ark & Shaft there's something special about finding 85 & 90 carded figures. They look absolutely awesome & still baffles me how they survive so long in that condition without being cased!

@Happy I'm loving the transition Prowl with the rub in a TM box. Very cool! :D

Here's a very recent pick up. An 85 rub Ironhide (85-90-90) It's the most flawless TF I've held in my hand. I'm really happy to have found this piece!

Does that coming off the bubble issue happen with all G1 Transformers in that similar style packaging or just Prowls?

I'd like to acquire an AFA Jazz one day, would like to know the in's and out's of storing it and what not. Is there a better marketplace for them outside of Ebay?

Jbz, prerub Prowl's & Bluestreak's are notorious for detaching from the card. Rubs of them have been ok from what I've seen. I haven't personally seen any of the other series 1 prerub bubbles detaching but it is possible. Rough shipping of these old figures is heart in mouth stuff & I'm sure all of the collectors here will agree to that.

I may not speak for all AFA collectors here but most of us have double ups from doing upgrades & what not so we'd be able to help you out with most AFA figures you want, depending on the grade of course. I have a really nice 80 rub Jazz I could do for reasonable money. Rubs are the rarer version of him too. Hope that helps! :)

This is definitely the case. I have a MIB pre-rub Prowl. It was MISB (probably would grade 85 by the AFA), but the bubble separated during transit. As a result, it had to be opened so the bubble could be reattached. I'm using paper clips to hold the bubble to the card back now. It looks beautiful (ungraded) inside of my acrylic display case, but it's still disappointing to have this happen. I think there are certain figures people will prefer to hold on to instead of having graded because of issues like this.

On a separate note, how the heck do you post pictures here? Do you have to link the images to another site? I'd love to post some of my stuff, but I've yet to figure it out.

Just sign up, drag & drop images you want to upload from your pc, then copy the 'image code' from the options column on the right & paste it in the TFW boards. Dead easy! :D

Why from Jshaft of course! I think he is the Axiom Nexus of all AFAs.

Yeah, I bet they do! I'm just now slowly starting to send everything off to have it cased up, I like to procrastinate.

People's childhood Transformer choices have a lot to answer for, mate. Landfill, Hub Cap, Runamuck, Skystalker, Classics Air Raid....all stuff that wouldn't normally be associated with my loves, but I dream of having sealed specimens one day.

    JK, my friend, none whatsoever.

    :lol

Hey, does anybody have any AFA gold box European Classics? or Canadian/European G1 packaged graded items to show off?

    All the best
    Maz
