  2. Maybe? If I can scrounge up enough cash before August 31st...that's pretty soon. Can I even?

    19.1%
  3. I'd buy it if it was $300! Not $600. No way Jose.

    17.8%
  4. I would buy it, but he seems very overpriced for what you get. Why no lights & sounds?

    6.1%
  5. For the price, I'd really want to see a review first before dropping any money down on it.

    7.2%
  6. HELL NAW!

    20.4%
  7. What are you nuts?!?! I don't have the room for that!

    15.6%
  8. No, because I am afraid it will have poor quality control.

    5.7%
  9. I would, but I don't live in North America. :(

    5.9%
  10. I'm only buying it to flip it later! This is gonna be HUGE on the aftermarket! *laughs in Mr. Krabs*

    I think I’m getting two-hear me out!
The cost is ridiculous, I agree. But once this thing is out, that’s it-no more. There will always be someone looking for one of these and the price is pretty much a safe bet to double in the aftermarket. Now, I’m no scalper by any means but I will sell at market value with no issues. So I’m buying 2 with the expectations that I can recoup most of my costs for both by selling one on the aftermarket.

There's a comparison picture with Fort Max in the main thread. Max's head is right around Unicron's chest.

Heck no i can not justify spending 550 on a transformer it's too expensive for a character i don't care about its too expensive even if a cared about the character if he was 150 200 yes but 550 no way
With 550 i could buy almost everything else from siege i don't have and and want i plan on completing siege besides unicron

I voted multiple options. My rational choices would be wait for a review given the price, and it would be very difficult finding room for it in my house. But this is exactly the one of a kind, dream project that could make me not only immediately shell out the Money, but also sacrifice part of my collection to make room for the planet eater.
Of course, for now it's all talks since it doesn't ship to my country. I can only hope things are going to change by 2021.

As nice as it looks, too rich for my blood. Plus it's just too big.

The timing is puzzling given that we're currently in an already eventful and expensive release period for Hasbro/Takara products.

I will regret passing on this so yeah I will back this and hopefully by August 30th I should have MotC Classics Snake Mountain paid off. That said I do not see myself buying $500+ toys for a while.

I wont buy it as my funds are all tied right now.

But if it gets funded I'll use my taxes to snag one secondary when they drop even though I'll be taking a huge hit to the nuts and bolt.

    Honestly no.

    Armada Unicron is sufficient.

    For me anyway.

My monthly hobby budget is $300.

Masterpiece 43 will be my most expensive buy.

He will cost $280 before PayPal fees.

I love G1 stuff but i can't justify spending this stuff. My daughter would be only slightly taller than it and my son would be smaller so storage/safety would be a nightmare. Those who want it go for it! Also, my wife would have me committed. She already looks sideways at my collecting and spending that much would be insane in her eyes.

No way, not at that price, they are nuts.

I'm good with the Amazon exclusive Generations one from a few years back -- better price (at the time) and fits collection better (size wise)

Spent an HR trying to talk myself out of it.
    Mainly cause i'm overseas..

But i caved. Am hoping Hasbro follow through on talk of overseas shipping, or i can figure something out

I'd be mad at myself if i didn't at least try.

I would buy it if it came with a saddle for Trypticon, or at least a collar and leash.

    Does it come
I think this is a serious question. There are a lot of scalpers or resellers who know this will increase in price. Or maybe just want to play with for a week, store it, and then resell later.

Lots of us spent $600 on TFC Hercules when it first came out. Or on ToyWorld Constructor. Lots of us will spend ~$400 on MP44.

Viewed in that light, a two and a half foot tall Unicron figure for $500 something isn't really THAT unreasonable -- especially knowing that it will AT LEAST double in value the MOMENT it drops.

To me the biggest issue is the shortness of the crowdfund. I wish they'd given us at least a 6 month window which would have allowed us to set aside that kind of money easily. I don't know if I can scare up half a band in a few weeks, but if the crowdfund time was longer I'd do it for sure.

EDIT: Oh shit I just realized I have a Kotobukiya Black Panther and an SOC GunBuster I can sell... there's my Unicron right there. :)
