Transformers: War For Cybertron Unicron – Hasbro Pulse

    EVERYTHING IT DOES:

    HOW IT TRANSFORMS:

Will I be buying it? Probably not. Here's why: There's just too little it's offering for it's price. So what's it do? It's big, it has a stand, it transforms, you can move its fingers and mouths. Big Whoop. Give me Electronic lights and sounds! I expect light up eyes and some Orson Welles sound bytes for that price. Also, make the head detachable and the eyes transformable to "shattered" form! And throw in some micro figurines of Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge, and other 1986 movie cast that were in the final battle too! Maybe add in some micro planets to display Unicron "eating" them. It just seems to bare for the asking price when less expensive and comparably sized figures like Omega Supreme, Trypticon, Fortress Maximus, and Metroplex offer and do far more! PASS.

I'm waiting until 8/30 to decide. Never know what may happen between now and then.

I don’t think money is an issue for me, more the size and space needed for it. Also it looks like it would break easily in planet mode if it fell.

Does the jaw close? I prefer a more movie look.

Honestly, all I would really want is a post movie damaged floating head version. I don’t need the whole thing.

If I had the room and a good-paying job, it would still be quite a hard purchase to make.
Half a thousand dollars is quite a large price tag for one figure, I can hear the arguments beginning already:
"Now honey, please don't get mad..."

I’m gonna wait till 8/30. I want this badly but right now I can’t get the money. But if I do enough OT to pay my bills early enough plus it’s around my bday I can get it.

To be honest, it looks freaking amazing. I think that would be a crazy cool showpiece for any display. But I can't justify the price. Not even a little bit. I look forward to hopefully seeing awesome pictures from those that get him though!

Man, think of what TCracker could have done with him... :(

Can you add an option for those outside the US that would buy it if they were allowed?

I really love the look of Unicron and the designers did put alot of work into and it really shows and looks amazing. But I think I'm going to have to pass.

    1. Paying $575 all up front for a figure at least 1.5 years out bothers me. I know that they need to have time to produce them and that is not something that happens in just two months. That's understandable. But coming up with $575 with just two months heads up time is also something that is not feasible for alot of people. If Hasbro could work out payment plans and then start production after those plans were paid off might help them get more backers and give other people a chance to own one of these.

    2. Hasbro has been known to be lax in QC. It worries me if $150 Trypticon's leg issue could get through then what could happen with Unicron. Normally I'd wait for reviews but by the time Unicron hits and reviews go up, the value will most likely triple.

No, I live in an apartment so I have no room for that monster. Plus $575 is too rich for my blood, I have many hobbies so I don’t have the money to throw down nearly $600 on one figure plus buy all the other Siege figures I want.

I'm not gonna bother. I don't have the room, I have an Armada Unicron, and I'd rather save up for Siege Omega Supreme and PotP Predaking. Besides, as @Yaujta said the other day, it won't scale with anything else that I've got, so what's the point?

This just applies to me. Anyone who wants it, go for it!

Hard and easy no. If I have to spend more than half of the cost of my rent on a figure, I'm simply not buying that figure. From what I have seen so far, there is no reasonable excuse why this figure should be anywhere more than $275-$300 tops.

Absolutely, positively not. And I buy almost everything (domestic) TF, but you gotta draw the line somewhere, and that's about $200 past my line.
