Been a little while, been quite busy of late.

Tried doing BH Optimus Prime in the garden, and while he came out alright his clear green sword has wreaked havoc with my 3D program... whups.

    Awwwwww yeah.

Avengers Black Widow has stolen Iron Man 2 Black Widow's massive sniper rifle (from the first page). Speaking of IM2 Black Widow...

And messing around using the boxes as a background. Limited results but hey, I did it anyway.

    Kinda lush these figures.

Okies, so I made myself some new blackboards and tried doing Star Trek 3 again.

It works a lot better if you have 2 overlaid pairs of 3D glasses, sounds stupid bit it works. Maybe if I tweak it a bit in photoshop...

    Edit
And I tried... and made it a lot worse lol.

Travelled around London last Friday, so I took a few snaps.

At Ripleys Believe it or not, they have a giant Optimus Prime model in their lobby. It's a bit rough around the edges but still impressive.

I also traipsed all over Hyde Park, looking for the Princess Diana Memorial Playground, after getting that confused with the Princess Diana Memorial Fountain... anyway they're at opposite ends of the park and it's not small. Took a pic of an English Rose for my trouble though.

Quick and nasty picture of my second Asuka on a bike. Don't ask, it's been an epic eBay story on par with the worst Greek tradgedies. Once I have the time and proper sunlight I'll take much better pictures of her, but until then, this will have to do.

    So purdy though.

Haha fool, I took these pictures of the new Alternity GTR Optimus Prime, but didn't realise the car interior wouldn't show up.

Gonna have to try that again methinks.

My first Alternity mould, and he's luuuuuuurvly.

Such a lovely piece. Got annoyed though, the only picture I took in this session that wasn't for a 3D shit wasn't in focus, and because I don't (currently) have the space for her she's back in her case... urgh.

Oh man I'm so pleased how this turned out.

I bought a 'Deadly 60' Not Lego jungle playset with the intention of using it as a backdrop for Legends/Cyberverse figures and this was my first attempt as a shot.

Wowzers. I might have to go back and buy a second set... yeah I think I will. Plus I have Perfect Effect Assault Force X on the way... OMG OMG OMG.

Bought one of those Halo Megabloks diorama scene things for a background, £10 instead of £40. I think I need to mess around with it some more to get the best out of it, but my initial impression is it's not as versatile as I thought.

Still, combined with that jungle set looks pretty cool. Bought another jungle set too, but I might return it if I find I don't need it.

    One more for today.

I bought a TMNT 'Pop up Pizza Playset' which works pretty well as a backdrop for those TMNT figures I bought. Now they have a home!

But of course, the others are training and Mikeys off to find pizza...

Problem is the museum is a bunch of cavernous hangers and lighting in there is kinda poop. The well lit planes cames out very well though.

    More next post.

A Sunderland flying boat. It's huge.

Interior of the tail of the Sunderland. Inside there's a bunk room and kitchen along with the bomb bay, cockpit and turret emplacements! Basically a heavily armed flying boathouse.

Some of these came out really well, but I was hampered by the poor lighting. I also made sure I didn't photograph any real people in my shots. There were a few people milling around but I was a ninja photographer.

    Kind of a quickie.

Aso... Asu... uh... whatever her name is, this is the Star Wars Vintage figure of her.

She's going to die by the end of the Clone Wars. Otherwise George Lucas raped my childhood.

I bought a 6 inch Star Wars Black Sandtrooper today... yeah, it's a pretty nice figure actually. Not worth the £20 it's going for here in the UK but still very nice.

A few days ago I bought a DOTM Sideswipe which was on sale. The thing is I've always thought the dull grey killed the figure, but I decided I would do a quick and nasty paintjob on a cheap figure and see what it did...

Oboy. Chromed Sideswipe is fantastic. Shame it's incredibly fragile (Binaltech paint chipping has nothing on this) but for looks alone? Chrome is awesome.
