Aw yeah. Cityscape from the more interesting angle.

More Aerial shot. Bases are awesome for getting nice depth of field shots without it going crazy on the eyes.

In the UK there is a magazine series featuring Batmobiles. Anyway I'm only picking up the ones I want, and so far that's...

    Westmobile...

    Keatonmobile...

    Tumbler...

and finally (so far) the TASmobile.

These things come in nice presentation cases with 3D lenticular backgrounds. I've tried to capture those in these pictures, but not sure how successful they've come out. Only the Tumbler seems to have actually worked.

Ooh, epic long day yesterday walking all over London for my day off. Got some quick and nasty shots on my travels.

A diorama from the Science Museum, not sure what it was even about, the whole thing was a quick *snapsnap and away!*

Later I was in Forbidden n Planet, and noticed some Star Wars products had anaglyph pictures, so I craftily took a pic. Kinda crap if I'm honest LOL.

I then checked out their display cabinet and shot this. Homicidal Bikini clad slug killing slave girls are hot.

The Batmobiles are from Eaglemoss, if I remember correctly? (According to BBTS.) They look amazing.

But the best examples of 3-D are the Maximus city scape and the museum pic you posted today. Both produce the effect perfectly. It's freakin' awesome.

Yeah Eaglemoss are doing the Batmobiles. Nice models but they're not toys, the wheels don't even roll. Great to display, not to play.

While clearing out some of my ancient junk I came across an old pair of (Starcom!) 3d glasses so can finally check these out - great work - autobot city looks so much cooler and busy in 3d!

Glad you could appreciate them! I still maintain every household has a pair of old 3D glasses somewhere, you just don't know where.

Picked up an 'Iron Man: The Armoured Avenger' Reactor shift IM, very nice little figure, the swappable chestplates give his torso a nice chunky feel.

Also I was messing around with 3D lens flare for the first time since... that Batmobile picture. Much more successful this time, but then it has been something like ten years since that other picture...

Totally amazed by the Autobot City shots. Are you going to crank everything out again when stupid-big Metroplex turns up?

If you've got any, can I request some BW toys in 3D?

Ha, not even sure I'm gonna get that honking huge Metroplex. But I'm sure if I do I'll do another Base orgy.

As to BW figures, sure why not? I only have a few, mostly Transmetals. I'll see what I can dig up.

Took a quick and nasty night time phone pic of my friends Lego setup. Basically he is to Lego what I am to giant Robits.

There's a lot going on there, and it's only part of his Lego!

Found this old pic from a few years ago.

Can't find the original pictures though, so I can't rework it.

I'd completely forgotten about it LOL.

Took some pictures today, a whole bunch actually. A few were failures though, I really need to start taking more multiple angles to prevent me wasting time. Urgh.

My Star Wars BMF, I've been wanting to make some 3D pictures of this sucker, but have only just got her down from her perch.

Star Wars meets Star Trek? Its been like that for a long time, I predicted JJ Abrams getting the Star Wars role back then! He tell me.

The other room inside the Falcon is a more traditional setup.

This one is barely passable. Seriously I wasn't going to post it up because its waaay too extreme.

I took a few Beast Wars pics of some of the few BW figures I do have, ones like Dinobot came out spectacularly crappy (shooting white on white is kinda stupid really) but Jawbreaker came out better then I thought he would. Horses for courses I guess.

I cut short the BW picture taking though. While rooting through my stuff came across a box full of some old Anime figures, and pervy girls distracted me.

How odd. I bought these many years ago, and now its a little odd a almost 35 year old man leering at young girls... lol. No I don't care, not really.

But this one's OK! Its Asuka as an adult in her future job presuming the end of Evangelion where everyone died (spoiler?) didn't happen!

This figure was/is fantastic, and I had completely forgotten I even had it. She has interchangeable arms, heads, hairdo's and comes with a bunch of accessories to customise her how you want. Absolutely brilliant.

Change the head, left arm, hair, and give her a hat and BAM! Practically a different statue altogether. G.E.N.I.U.S.

Will try to take better BW pictures, that Jawbreaker pic is standout.

Aw yeah, broke out my Star Wars Republic Gunship I spent lots of money getting as complete as possible many moons ago.

It's got two Ep2 pilots, ARC Squad, Speeder Bike, two giant glass testicles with a Clone trooper nestled inside.

There are accessories in there from all over the shop, stuff from Ep3, Ep2 blah blah blah. It's always bugged me how Star Wars vehicles are never sold 'complete', ie no pilots, droids, accessories. You're expected to fill in the voids yourself.

And lastly, I thought I'd try using some old Kaiyodo KT Dead or Alive figures with a Price of Persia archway as a background. Works quite well if I say so myself.

Gonna send a couple of the Star Wars pics to the UK Star Wars comic, whose latest issue is a 3D special and comes with a free pair of glasses... gonna try and wrangle an image onto the letters page, shoehorning some 5 year olds picture off muhuhahah.

Quick and nasty pics of my latest acquisition. Long story behind this one, will elaborate when I take some nicer pictures.

So very nice, but not without issues and not cheap. But one of my favourite ever characters... so hey.

Heh, quick and nasty. Star Trek and Transformers Crossover!

Interestingly I got that Grimstone in a blind pack with sweets, and he's a much greener shade than the Grimstone that came in the actual Minicon 12 pack... Greenstone varient?

Hrm. Tried a quick (ish) attempt at recreating a shot from Star Trek 3... I tried to salvage it with a little bit of photoshop, but the source photos are so dark and the Bird of Prey is too brightly lit versus the actual Enterprise so it's a bit of a mess.

Looks better the smaller it is. When I have time to properly set this up I'll have to try again.
