I was just watching a hilarious 3 stooges short on youtube and thought of something amazing. What if there were three charcters in transformers based on the three stooges. I would love that so much, whether they be autobot, decepticon, or neutral. Does anyone else love this idea

Exactly who I was going to mention when I saw the thread title. Such a trio that the figures even came together in the same box.  

 

OMG I completly forgot about that...now I remember it..lol... I love the three stooges from way back when (yes even Shemp) but unless it's wreck gar I really don't want to see transformers acting like them unless it's a "One off" type thing maybe an episode where a bunch of transformers get their wires crossed or catch a virus then they start acting goofy/insane,that might work.

I don't remember that as a kid, but when I first saw it 4-5 years ago - I thought it was blasphemy! But I've watched a few episodes, and it's not too bad. It's so incredibly dumb that I get quite a few chuckles from it.


Regarding The Three Stooges in TFs? Maybe one character, but not all three together doing a "shtick". Maybe one really, really grumpy character who slaps around the others (Moe), or maybe a really wacky, animated dumbass character (Curly)....but not all three.....

 

Easy. QuickStrike, Waspinator and Inferno from BW. Season 3 is when they are the most "stoogie" together

in ROTF, i guess bumblebee could be considered moe and skids and mudflap are larry and curly

 

It should be noted that Frank Welker did the voice of the narrator...and Curly!

Well....it has been done:
Slapper, Gas Skunk, Dark Scream in Transformers R.I.D. Sure it's wasn't a direct reference, but 3 idiots have been used in any from of media for a LONG time, because of The 3 Stooges.

But slapper, Gas Skunk, Dark Scream. were lame. not nearly funny enough to be funny and too funny to add anything to the story.

But ya. they could in fact throw that in. Beside making 3 new characters:
Juckions would be a good place for them. And given G1 Juckion back story is could fit in a none comical setting.

Unicrons Hook, Line, and Sinker I think could do.

I could even see a version of the stunticons as the 3 stooges. (thou...there'd be two extra)

I'm having trouble thinking of something fitting out side of G1.

The stooges were Vipers in the Marvel G.I.Joe comic, so technically they are a part of the Transformers universe.
