So, is anyone going to watch it tonight? I actually like the GOTY choices/nominations this year:

-Assassin's Creed 3

-Dishonored

-Journey

-The Walking dead

-Mass Effect 3

Personally I think Dishonered will win.

 

If mass effect wins over the walking dead this event is a travesty

 

I think Mass Effect 3 will win, ignoring the backlash the ending caused, people really seemed to have enjoyed it. Also from a marketing perspective, they can release it with all the DLC included, and slap a "GOTY" sticker on it. I mean c'mon this the same show that gave Megan Fox an award for best VA.

 

I'm just looking forward to "The Last of Us" being shown if it happens.

What do you mean? Like, released early in the year but people think it came out the year before it's actual release? (Ie: I thought ME3 came out late 2011.)

Also the little advert you get on the VGA section on the Xbox dashboard is brilliant, "Get your asses down here Friday night 9 eastern, 6 pacific, or if you're in Europe then... I dunno what the fuck time it's on, but you find it, alright?"

What I mean is that since ME3 was released early (march 2012 I believe), when compared to the other games that were released much later, could affect the voting.

Though the VGA awards are rigged, so I guess the point is moot.

I'd like to bring up the fact this seems to be advertised heavily as the the first "VGA streamed on XBL" how much Microsoft promotion do you'll think it'll have? And another thing, Story of a sentry seems to have random words relating to Xbox live scrolling on areas with black in them.
