I actually found my old Sabres schedule from the strike back in the 90s and though the Game On! tag was a nice touch. So party on Wayne!

Anyway, Turco arrived in Chicago today and did his press conference. Everyone seems very happy. I even think Turco will be a valued backup on my fantasy team as he will actually have a Defense in front of him.

Niemi accepts a deal with San Jose for the same the Hawks would have paid him and signed Turco for. Hmmm

Also, streetfests are coming up which I don't know how many teams have but are pretty fun. Hawks are doing a 3on3 street hockey tourney and open practice. Sabres are unveiling the new 3rd jerseys. Goodbye Buffa-Slug!

Also, had to relinquish command of half my season tickets as the cost went up 40%. Plus I will be in NYC for home opening banner raising game against Detroit! My first Hawks game will actually be against Buffalo in Buffalo as I am making a stop over for the night to catch the game with my dad.

What a start to NHL 11

Leafs aren't going anywhere with a roster of what seems like 36 defensemen. Seriously Burke, you continue to botch any potential chance of dealing Kaberle. I think all of Toronto's sports franchises have a secret competition for who can run their team the worst. See also: how the Blue Jays handled Roy Halladay, Raptors with Bosh (though he was going to Miami regardless a la Cavs + Lebron).

Told ya I didn't have much to add other than we stink. Carry on everyone.
