I've seen plenty of times where the winning team doesn't play well enough to win, but gets lucky that the other team plays poorly enough to lose and let me just say this...

This was absolutely NOT one of those games!!!!

The Giants defensive line absolutely MANHANDLED the Patriots for 50 minutes (seeing as how the Giants had the ball for the first 10 minutes I guess I wont count that time :p  ). Say what you will, but for a team who was so ticked that Plexico would dare say they would only score 17 points and didn't even get that much, doesn't say "team that deserved to win the Super Bowl" to me. The Giants manned up when it counted, just like they did all post-season. While I'm not a Giants fan, my hat is off to them :)

And sure they broke a lot of records during the season...so did the Vikings last time Moss was on a "team of destiny"...and they tied the 49ers and the Bears with 18-1 seasons...oh, except the 49ers and Bears WON the Super Bowl :lol

That was one of the best super bowls I have ever seen. And I'm not being biased cause I'm a New Yorker:)  The people out here in the streets were going crazy! I have to feel for the Pat fans though. To have a perfect season like that and have it all collapse in the end is pretty painful, but the Giants earned it. Congratulations Giants!

All the SBs Pats won before this season should come with astericks and the one that shouldn't...meaning this one...they didn't win. So I guess all of the Pats championships should come into question.

    I love it.

Q: What did Peyton Manning's dad say to Eli for the first time tonight?
    A: I love you

I knew they could do it.

Mind you, I didn't know they would. Just that they could.

Best Super Bowl I've ever seen, and one of the top five games I've ever seen.

David Tyree deserved the MVP for that catch alone.

Goddam, what a great game. Oh, and go '72 Dolphins!

i'd say the best three games i have ever seen in my entire life are:

    3. Texas vs. USC RB2006

    2. Colts vs. Pats AFC CHAMPIONSHIP 2006

    1. Giants vs Patriots SBXLII

As I stated earlier in this thread...many have been praising Brady on how awesome of a quarterback he is...well look at the time he's had in the pocket all year long...of course your numbers are going to be great when you have all the time in the world...the Giants were able to get to him and pretty much shut Brady's game down...put a little pressure on him and he's no better than anyone else this year...

Congrats to the Giants...Eli stepped up and did what he had to do...their defense was near perfect and the receivers made some amazing catches...biggest win though to Tom Coughlin...glad to see him finally get his ring with as many years he put into the NFL...

    18-1

the patriots seemed to have everyone else convinced that 19-0 wasn't that unbelievable, with all their interviews.

But it appears they didn't convince themselves. They choked so hard....and now they are going to have to pay randy moss some randy moss money instead of david tyree money.

For real....looks like Brady is playing the injury card, no word from Moss

About the game....I must say I have never liked Eli Manning, but I have been proven wrong. He stepped up and played, and forced me to change my opinions about him.
