Why didnt Ironhide contacted Prime once the Decepticons entered?

 

He probably thought: "Action first,words later" knowing how he is in the show,even though when the Decepticons were killing Brawn and Prowl,Ironhide had enough time to report.

 

I'm sure they thought they thought they had a fighting chance until they realized that the Decepticons finally learned how to shoot straight.

 

Soundwave was probably jamming any transmissions.

As for the Autobots thinking they might die.........they never did in series 1, so they probably thought they had a good shout and the Decepticons would retreat! How wrong they were!

 

That is the most accurate description of the difference between the movie and the TV show I've ever read......

 

And realized their guns had a higher setting than "mildly annoy".

Did Prime knew what has happened to the shuttle once he got that call from Blaster?

 

Doubtful. There's no proof that anyone besides Hot Rod, Kup and whatever Autobots were with Kup knew that the shuttle had been hijacked. Even if they did, there wouldn't have been anything they could have done about it. The main concern was getting the message to Optimus Prime on Moonbase One so he could send backup.

 

Who knows, but I’m going to say yes. Not because Iron Hide was flying around in front of Blaster while he made that distress call but because of how quickly Prime came with back up and his determination to end Megatron right then and there.

How would you explain Optimus’ arrival with backup—the Dinobots were brought to specifically handle Devastator—and his ultimatum to Megatron?

 

I dont see why he would, we heard Blasters message, it mentions noting about the shuttles.

Blasters call was desperate and specify stated that the Decepticons were blitzing the city.

That alone explains Optimus’ arrival with backup.

Thats an assumption not based on any factual evidence.

Megatron and his lot had done some pretty heinous $#!+ over the years—worst of all is their home world of Cybertron—and none of that compelled Optimus to run Decepticons down or throw down an ultimatum to Megatron before.

Thats pretty irrelevant.

Theres nothing in the film that states Optimus knew Devestator was at Autobot city.

But even if he guessed they were there, or if he didnt know, it would have been logical to bring the best back up he had available.

Your making more assumptions.

We dont know what happened in the 20 years between the end of season 2 and the film, so you cant say what Optimus did or did not do.

As for dunning down cons...what of it??

he has said similar things before, and it resulted in nothing.Not to mention that he failed to pull the trigger when he had the chance.

either way, none of what you cited concludes Optimus had any knowlidge of what happened to Ironhide and his crew.

The Dinobots were weak against Devastator they failed to knock down Devastator, Grimlock shouldn't of rushed towards Devy, they should of landed and take action there as to how to separate Devastator

 

When was the last time you saw the film?

The Dinobots did INDEED, knock down Devastator.

 

But they didnt fail to "KNOCK HIM DOWN", so you were in error in saying that.
