It's been posted here by a friend of mine. Decided to do it too.

I've seen a lot doing the mod Orthia with her back as a front, but I want to maintain a little of the designer's intent and still use the cockpit as front. We just need to fix that silhouette and get rid of the Movie Starscream Dorito look. This involves a little parts forming, but we've done this too with CW Cyclonus by moving his rear wings during transformation. So, nothing new here.
This simple mod just turns the folding wings into side skirts.

Materials:You just need a Krazy Staw as 5mm pegs + Super Glue

How sturdy are those straws? And where’d you get them?

 

Will it hold fine without super gluing the straw bits in there?

 

Yup. Hahaha.

 

Those are just from the dollar store. They're very dense and sturdy. You can use something else if you can't find these straws, as long as it's 5mm in diameter.

 

Yes, it does but I hate to lose it, so I glued, sanded, and polished with Glade. Now it looks like it's part of the mould.

 

Cool. I’ll check one out when I get a chance. I can always use quick & cheap 5mm posts in varying colors
