At least in store, though, Argos will give you the choice of whatever they've got in that size in stock (mine always does - without me having to ask).

 

The last time I was at Toys'r'Us, i got to take a peek at their computer. They dont have 'Jetfire' (Which is what I was looking for, since I'd been told that they recently put a couple out on the shelves) in their system. They have stuff like 'TRANSFORMERS Universe Voyager'. The Rotf line is even worse, where stuff is simply 'TRANSFORMERS DELUXE' or 'TRANSFORMERS LEADER'. So, even if the person you're talking to actually knows what to do a search for, they'd have to physically check both the shelves and storage to definetely say what exactly they have in stock.

Same problems for people on the GI Joe boards. The site stated ultra rare final wave vehicles like the Sharc from ROC but nada.

 

I wonder if kmart.com allows it's buyer to return the items at the store for a refund. or do you have to ship the items back to the kmart.com web site for a refund.

 

Rules to follow

1. Never order anything from kmart
2. Never trust an employee ( not always) who tell you yes we have or no we don't
3. Back to kmart, if they have it on there site, before other retailers...don't believe it
4. If you can avoid kmart ( 60$ for a ldr is fu*kin crazy)
5. Never ever order something from kmart...becuz the still take your shipping eve if they sent the wrong thing....

this story is different than, but similar, as in i went to a target (one of the rare moments i could) and asked if they had the exclusive Superion in back, they said no, but this target 15 minutes away does, so we go there and ask and they say no, the target i just went to has them......i gave up haha

 

This message board alone gives you enough to hunt successfully. There's likely going to be a front page'd article about how Bonzai-tron's wave has now officially hit US shelves (which I don't recall there being one). You have the Sightings section to see what's in your area.

All you saw was "Bonzai-tron In Stock" on a website. And there's no evidence otherwise stating that Bonzai-tron is anywhere near a KMart. You need to hunt smarter. Know what's printed on the case, the wave number and possibly revision number, and even maybe the DCPI. You're asking TRU employees if they have Bonzai-tron and all they hear is Voyager. Yes, yes they have a case of Transformers Voyagers.

 

The stories in this thread, and their prices for TFs, are why I almost never buy Transformers at Kmart (online or otherwise), because there are plenty of nearby stores that are better for Transformers.

Now for DCUC, Kmart can't be beaten.

I just want to give anyone a heads up that maybe reading this, Banzai-tron is in store in various places already, including the great state of Pennsylvania (shamelesss plug). I think the first was spotted a couple weeks ago in Texas. But like Kusanagi said, check your sightings threads. You'll find out if certain toys have hit saturation in your area.

 

Just pre order them from BBTS. They are like $14.99 each. Yes it is a big $2 more than K-Mart, but at least you know that you will get them and they should be in stock soon.

I take issue with this being the biggest buzzkill of your life. The biggest buzzkill of my life was accidently cutting... myself on the edge of a foil condom wrapper. Finding out K-Mart.com sucks doesn't really compete with a johnson injury in light of impending sex.
