As some of you know I had to take Sherry (KnightSaberAmi) to the ER in Pasadena on Sunday for what turned out to be walking pneumonia, not the best way to spend the last day of botcon. Anyways KSA and I wanted to thank all those who atteneded Botcon for there well wishes and to let you all know that she's doing better and we made it home.

For those who weren't aware of what happened, during the Paramount Party (after Tyrese Gibson came out) she started having trouble taking deep breaths, making it hard to walk from the lot to the theater and back. By 5am sunday morning it was obvious she was getting worse. I have to complement the staff at the Hilton they were excellent, they took us to the local emergency room and picked us up. Anyways a couple of hours later we left the ER with prescriptions for pain killers and antibiotics.

To add to the adventure our flight back to the east coast was at 12:35 AM from LAX. Northwest airlines BTW was totally incompetent. We requested a wheel chair to get KSA to our departure gate in Detroit, before we left LAX. We get to Detroit and they have no record of the request and of course we only had about 30 minutes till our flight leaves. So I race to the gate to make sure they know we're coming, while KSA is being brought over in the wheelchair. I get to the gate and the bitch at the counter was literally about to close the gate door as KSA was only about 100 feet away.

In the end we made it back home pretty much on schedule. Thanks again for all the well wishes.

 

Oh man, i'm so sorry to hear that, I hope KSA is in Tip Top condition soon enough.

It was great seeing the two of you back at botcon tho!

 

Ouch, that's a real bummer for the trip. I hope the rest of the experience made up for it! Glad everyone is OK.

Speaking of which, it was great talking to both of you from there. You were one of the few people who called me from Botcon knowing that I was sitting at home. Thanks, bud

Good to hear things are improving; please pass on my wishes for her. I was surprised this came about. She seemed to be just fine Friday night when you two joined us at the Yard House.

 

That was the weird part. She was fine Saturday morning during the Weird Al autograph session and right up till about 9pm, then it just hit like a ton of bricks.

Fortunately she's at home now relaxing, watching TV and surfing the web.

Sorry to hear about Sherry, MM. My prayers go out to her. I had walking pnuemonia when I was about 11, not fun. But I remember watching a lot of 007 movies while I was sick. How's her cough? I still have a very deep one to this day because of that walking pneumonia, even though there's nothing wrong with me. So tell Sherry not to worry too much if that deep cough stays with her too.

 

Glad to hear Sherry is on the mend Curt. That really threw me for a loop when you said she was sick on Sunday, so I'm glad to hear she's getting better now.
