tooks some shots during Bowsers feeding time... just happy i'm not a goldfish...
You named your turtle Bowser? Awesome.
I think it would be awesome to be a goldfish. Having a 3 second memory would give me tons of surprises.
You should of seen my old turtle attack those things, he would rip off their heads.
3 seconds is too much time with Bowser.. he literally swallows them whole in one snap its incredible.. but he's given me reason to doubt that 3 second memory thing.. these guys know he's there and they know he's coming after they see a few friends disappear lol

Is he an alligator or a regular snapping turtle? I'm guessing alligator?
100% Alligator snapper coolest frickin thing on the planet...
my wife rescued him in december from a house she was helping her mother sell.
the homeowners had him in a 10 gallon tank with no filter system. now hes's in an 80 gallon with 2 submersibles
I used to date a girl who had a turtle named Gamera. He was OK,but kind of sluggish.
that critter starts shooting flames get the hell away from the tank
but seriously cool turtle
Its fun to see one take down a whole goose.
Nice that you named your turtle after a Koopa King.
I would LOVE to see it but i love in new jersey, this is my first alligator snapper aside from seeing one at the bronx zoo or camden aquarium.
when i was younger though i got the joy of waking up in the middle of the night to the screaming of a duck who was nabbed by a common snapper... boy did that scare the crap outa me.. at least till i noticed what was going on..
I want one of those big gallapagos mother truckers. I'd name it Slash.
protected species bub , you get jail time for trying to smuggle it in XD
Heh, your turtle reminds me of Animated Lugnut!
That's cool but just beware that it will get GIANT! It will be a while but it will get giant. And please please don't release it in the wild, especially in NJ since it's not native to the area. Not sure of the laws in NJ, but he might be illegal to keep. Pretty sure it's illegal to keep them in NY. I'm not saying you should get rid of him, just be aware. Glad he's in a great home.
believe it or not, I actually helped one of those monsters across the road. I was driving and it was crossing a four lane county road! so I pulled over and got out, man I was kinda scared because the thing's so beastly, but he was good and I put him in someone's front yard. I felt like I met a dinosaur that day.
