For our next Transformers toy gallery update, we would like to draw to your attention a new release from the Transformers Collectors Club's Subscription Service, Transformers Animated Jackpot! Jackpot is one of the two releases in the line with a new head sculpt, and what a head sculpt! The new sculpt captures the spirit of the Transformers Animated style extremely well, and it's a great fit for Jackpot's body which is a reuse of Animated Jazz. The final effect is every bit as eye catching and dynamic as the mainline, Hasbro release Transformers Animated toys.

As you might already have guessed, we really like the TFCC's Transformers Animated Jackpot. Take a look at our gallery to get a look at this toy and see if you feel the same way.

Check out that awesome new head sculpt!

Generation 1 Jackpot, as an Action Master, came with a partner figure. Unlike some, this was an actual animal, a bird-bot named Sights. Inspired by the way that the second year of Figure Subscription Service releases are including some Arms Microns (including one as a stand-in for another Action Master's partner) I decided to dig through my toybox and give my Animated Jackpot a Sights of his own. I decided on the Arms Micron Bal from the Arms Micron single packs in the end, since Bal's alternate mode - a hatchet - was in keeping with the way that most Transformers Animated Autobots (and particularly the Cyber Ninjas) went with melee weapons over blasters. I've shared a couple of images showing the pairing below - there's more in the gallery itself.

Apologies for the way I just plain gushed over this toy - I really, really like how this one came out. So much personality and such a brilliant deco. I can say unreservedly this is my absolute favourite release from the first year of the Subscription Service so far, and I really can't see Ultra Mammoth eclipsing Jackpot in my eyes.

Absolutely love it. More like this one please TFCC!

He looks much better than I thought, figured it was just Jazz redeco...but with the head and those colors he stands out a bit, he really looks good. Nice NINJA group shot. :thumb

AS always, Fantastic photos Sol Fury! I especially love Pics: Micron Bal #4 with the micron bird perched upon his mounted chucks. Very cool! I really enjoyed Pics 11and 15 as well. Very dynamic with a great sense of action.

Pics 52 and 53 are great! How could one not love this figure? It just has so much personality! I think that those who haven't warmed up to JackPot need to see your gallery!

Eesh, the paint job on your Jackpot's head is... well... tad messed up. Fortunately my Jackpot's mostly free of paint issues barring a bit on the shoulder, and a bit of scuffing on the roof due to the packagain... again. =.

Nice shots... the Sights replacment is pretty neat too... shame I don't have that micron in my PoL... =/

Definitely like the figure overall though. The Animated Jazz mold is great, even if a bit simplistic... and honestly he stands fine with other non-Animated figures.

New face sculpt, huh. This is why I hate Hasblo. If they had to do a repaint/head sculpt, I would have gone with a G1 martini paint scheme or a crystal clear plastic remold.

I love the head sculpt, he looks awesome. With a cool smirk.

He fits in with the other Animated figures.

Thank you for your kind words :)
You've hit on the exact reason why I love the Animated line as a whole, they all have great personality. I'd say that would be something I'd want to carry over into other lines. To an extent it has, with some of the Bot Shot head sculpts and the look of a few of the Transformers Prome molds. Would love to see it be standard across all the lines, of course :)

The paint doesn't bother me all that much. I figure I should be able to match it and do a gentle touch up on the visor, but it's a minor thing to me.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Rad would be cool - I'd personally like to see the TFCC tackle Rumbler though. He's the fourth of a group with AM Thundercracker, Circuit and Slicer, all of whom have been tackled by the TFCC.

    Uh?

You hate Hasbro because TFCC gave another Animated character a toy, instead of doing random redecos of Jazz?

"Face it tiger, you just hit the Jackpot."

I love the pose of him in the air with his nunchuks.
