Sadly after transforming my grapple, his right side of that long tab broke because of how scary tight it was in vehicle mode.

What clear stand is being used in these photos for Starscream's jet mode? I would love to pick a few up, but I keep seeing reviews for various stands online that they aren't strong enough to hold larger figures.

I have multiple from multiple companies. Tamashii, Mafex, DC Collectibles, Square Enix, Mezco One:12. This one though is from Fext Hobby:

    Utility display stand (pre-order)

They are newer, and pretty solid.

With these, and others - you can tighten the screws at each joint point to make them more or less rigid. That helps sometimes.

Also, depending on what you are posing, might need a counter weight on the bottom. I use my phone or a battery brick for funky positions that normally tip over.

Just gotta be prepared to MacGyver things.

Jeezz this line is looking more and more like what I'd wished Masterpiece had continued to be or what I'd hoped Classics could be from the start every day. Really tempted to be in on it. Fantastically enticing photos.

Great photos! But uh, Ratbat is mistransformed in all of his robot/bat mode photos - his head needs to be pulled out and down.

Agreed. And they can pump them out quicker and cheaper. I was MP all the way for 15 years, but I have almost as many S1/2 characters in this scale just from the last 2, looking pretty good when paired together, and I can play around with them without pulling instructions.

wow, I don't know if I'd seen before how undersized Grapple's alt mode is compared to the deluxes, that's pretty disappointing.

Hoist and Prime continue to look great!

From a mainline product perspective, IMHO Earthrise is the best thing to happen to the Transformers brand in a long time. I'd say decades, but that's probably being unfair. Siege was great and I think started things off in the right direction, but the focus being on Cybertron never really struck the proper G1 feels for this fan. However, Earthrise is that exact sweet spot and I'm loving late '19 and '20 so far!

So true. And I'm not even saying that as a G1 purist as I tend to skew more on the side of Hasbro taking liberties on the original crew and updating them. But Siege and Earthrise both are making this TF fans squeal with delight. And we're finally getting a front of the car as toes/legs Sunstreaker. That just makes my heart sing.

These are pretty impressive. Siege and Earthrise are probably the best thing that has happened for G1 fans in a long time.

Man, just having a nice collection of autobots like this with such well made toys. Does make me wanna buy some. The sense of collective good design imbues me with an interest.
