Good news it seems for completing S1 and 2. All the Snarl concerns were unnecessary it seems, which I figured. More BW seasons. Yes, please. Titans continue? Meh. I think I'm out, but hope all of you who still want them get your shot. I'm gonna be tempted by an Axalon but I'm out of room.

Great conversation. Thanks you guys! It’s also understandable they had to keep a level of vagueness to it.

They (Hasbro) weren’t making hard promises but also really seem like they are on the same page with what most of the hardcore fandom wants (finish teams/lines, maintain scale).

A lot of the complete “no comment” answers actually excite me a lot. They otherwise could have said “nope, no plans.” Interesting... :D

The Armada Optimus Prime no comment is mildly frustrating.

The rest of the Dinobots along with Blaster are coming, according to rumors.

And there is a new Motormaster as well, but they're not redoing every combiner again.

Thanks for sharing that, sounds like it was a good conversation! Kinda wish it could've been recorded and shared, as seeing the full answers could've provided a little more context. (I especially would've liked to have seen Lenny's reaction to that question about the Titan class ending.)

So scale will still be the focus yet again in the next trilogy. Yay. How about some fun and solid toys that aren’t fiddly or tiny?

I'm really glad to hear that they're planning to stick with the current scale and aesthetic. I really hope that they keep up with WFC style bots, whether that be for Beast Wars, G1, or anything else. WFC has been so major for me as a collector, and I really want a complete collection of G1 and maybe Beast Wars figures in that style. The fact that the SS 86 stuff fits in seamlessly with it gives me a lot of hope for that, as while they may have started life as WFC figures, they are ultimately from a different line.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I want them to stay consistent with the style post WFC

Seeing there's only 19 on-screen dudes before they "wrap" G1 makes me wonder where they go next to milk popular names and faces.

Get the old ones then. Fans have been asking for in-scale figures for years. I'm just glad we won't end up with leader class Bumblebees and deluxe class Megatrons anymore.

"Combiners- redo"... what does that mean?
I'm trying to figure out if we're getting any new combiners in the next few years. Been eying stuff like the Combiner Wars Devastator reissue and wondering if I should grab him or if I should wait a few years until the next version (hopefully) comes out. Would love to see new Combaticons, of course, and still need a Superion and Predaking. But it's been sounding like they're focusing on some other characters for awhile and combiners may not be their big thing for the next few years at least? Good luck getting some of even the not-THAT-old CW sets for a reasonable price, however.

I think the RED figures should go all the way and offer various faces with different expressions, etc., as well as various hands and props.

I actually had a really good idea for RED. They could do Action Masters in the style of WFC. Characters like Banzaitron, Rad, and Krok with good detail that can fit in with modern Generations

Did everyone forget that Generations isnt mainline. Cyberverse is mainline. It has a show, it appeals to the kid demo, its the mainline. Generations is a separate line, perhaps a tier above, aimed to collectors at a more affordable price than masterpiece

And did everyone ALSO forget that they just announced q new show with new chatacters??

And all they do in the new lines is still argue about fucking scale. They’ll never be satisfied. Because something is a centimeter off or a vehicle is too big or small. At least we would be getting actual quality FUN toys instead. Want scale? Go buy Masterpiece. Two can play at the whole “just buy other stuff” game.

I feel like the question askers should have known from experience not to ask so many "are we getting X?" questions, given that the consistent response to those over the past 2 decades has been "we can't say right now". I don't blame Hasbro here, I blame the fan questioners.
(What the hell was the point of giving them an itemized list of Toys Colonel Gentleman Wishes Would Be Updated By Hasbro But They Haven't Been? Were they really expecting a response of "yes we're doing XYZ but not ABC"?)

Who asked the arcee and cyclonus question. Come on now. Everyone knows ss86 is because they shifted those figures along from the toyline that would become Kingdom.
