I can't believe my favorite gestalt Superion is not in the list.

 

Maybe they won't have this as an option in later years though - they may only be doing a combiner vote this year because of Combiner Wars being a thing.

Kinda surprised that Menasor and Superion were not even mentioned since those two actually started the scramble city themed combiners with emphasis on backstory. Devastator is obviously the grand-daddy of all, but the ying-yang aspect of Aerialbots and Stunticons started the 5 member subgroups that can combine and matching rivalries that paved the way for Bruticus VS Defensor and Abominus VS Computron.

 

So the Superion issue still hasn't been fixed?

He was mentioned on almost every page of the nomination thread. Reflector was mentioned on exactly one page.

 

Menasor is in the poll. Just not Superion.

There's a slim chance that Superion may already be in, in that Hasbro may choose one character and let the fans choose the other. There's been no mention that this will happen, though, so it's just my speculation.

looking at sheer firepower and strength, devastator is the bitch of all the combiners. getting beat down by bruticus was quite embarrasing.

Rail Racer would be lower on the list, whereas Liokaiser would be higher...much higher.

 

I'm going with Computron, for several good reasons. Chief among them, Hasbro should make a new one!  

I'm very disappointed to see Devastator lead the polls...
1) He's getting an epic toy already, so we need not extoll his virtues via vote; rather, via purchases
2) He's the G1, S1 combiner - do we really need further proof that a large majority of the fans can't get over G1S1? It'd be nice to include other combiners; to encourage HasTak to remember the episodes BEYOND S1...      

I just can't blame TomTak for making all those G1 MP cars when so many people are just tunnel-visioned on S1. You can't complain about all those Autobot cars when so many people refuse to even consider S2-3 or later shows.

It may require some work (and a volunteer), but it would be nice to see some actual descriptions and pics next to the choices. We're kind of voting based on a 1980s word list... and that feels kind of lazy and lame.

Too many people are gonna vote for the name brand they recognize, rather than the deserving winner. But I guess this is a popularity contest, anyway.

In which case, just remove names like LIOKAISER: too many people won't know who he is, IMO, giving him ZERO chance of victory (no matter how many votes he gets).

Had to go with Defensor. I have always had a love for emergency vehicles and Defensor was one of the first combiner related toys I got back in the old G1 days so he has special meaning for me.
