Exactly the same things as War For Cybertron. You have transforming robots battling each other in a great Story Mode and a wondrous Multiplayer Mode. Put in some Host Migration and you've got another great game !

i would like to see more open "sandbox" type playing.... GTA style.. roam freely, do optional missions after you complete story mode. i guess the movie games were kind of like that, but you know how they turned out... also, throw in some more characters from 1986!

I want to see expanded use of the Melee weapon. It felt too frozen of a system, expand it a little bit. I know I was in awe during that two second little animation when Ironhide came stomping in and tearing robots apart. I want to be able to do that! I felt like there was a dimension that was missing, a carnal part of the war that I was missing out on because the developers just hadn't figured it out yet. War for Cybertron, in many aspects, felt like a tech demo, albeit a very good one.

Splitscreen is obviously something that a lot of people have been asking for, and I concur. Online is great, and while there's certainly an audience for online as far as the target audience goes, I would have gotten a ton more mileage out of the game had I been able to experience it with my sister, my friends, my colleagues. There's just nothing that will ever beat that feeling of plopping down on the couch, and experiencing some ruck and tumble chaos.

Multiplayer, while we're on the subject, could and should be expanded to a degree that takes a cue from the DS TFTM games. In that, if it really is a War FOR Cybertron, make the battle a persistent, ongoing world. Not an MMO, but lets say that there's a counter for games won by each faction, and players killed on each faction. Like a gigantic stat tracking system, and you could reward factions based on timed events and things like double experience for a day, or a new weapon or things like that. This is all assuming that there is still a "War" to be fought. If they wanted to keep this idea they could easily take a page out of Bioshock 2's book and simply make the Multiplayer take place during the razing of Cybertron. While we're on the subject of, multiplayer...

Character Customization needs to be expanded. Not to the degree that we need to be able to swap parts, but make all chassis available for both sides, and all color palates open to both sides. It may seem odd seeing a Starscream esque chassis roam down an Autobot side, and I do understand that chassis help identify teams, it's simply an idea, however Autobot toys are repainted into Cons all the time, and vice versa (recent example being Breakaway/Thrust from ROTF).

The campaign, was a perfectly decent length for a game of this type, but I think that after the ridiculously epic and drawn out fight between Omega Supreme, the Trypticon fight was a tad bit of a let down. Make the fights more personal, I was pretty shocked that there wasn't some sort of a One on One between Megatron and OP. The story was well enough, but I felt that there needed to be a stronger emphasis on the implications of the war. One could argue that "It's all about BIG, FUCKING ROBOTS!!", but really, is that an excuse to let narrative quality slide? Let there be big, sprawling themes, let there be big, epic ideas. If you think there's nothing more epic than a Robot that can turn into a planet, let the ideas, philosophies and thematics expand to that scale. There's no reason Transformers shouldn't be a great storytelling franchise, we saw it in Beast Wars, Beast Machines and most recently Animated especially in the homestretch. War For Cybertron did an admirable job, but at the end of the day, it was just a pretty, admirable third person T-rated Gears of War with a great gimmick.

I hope that High Moon really finds a way to turn what was a decent concept for a first game, and really expand and break new ground with the franchise, and games in general. We now have "The Best Transformers Game", lets hope they can figure out "GOTY". I certainly think the ideas set forth in WFC can do just that.

Also, I forgot this, but in terms of story for the next game? How about planet hopping, as opposed to going straight to Earth. Lets pilot the Ark, go to different planets and learn more about the other offshoots of the world of Transformers, such as the Quintessons and the Junkions. The game could end with finding and landing on Earth...... Only to find out that the Decepticons have hit ground zero first, and the conclusion of the game could have a nice "Let's try and save what's left!" mission, establishing a foothold on Earth, a defiant stand for the resistance set to take place in the third game.

That, my friends and fellow Transformers fans, and collectors, is what I would love to see out of the inevitable sequel to High Moon Studio's Transformers: War For Cybertron.

From a mechanics point of view: cover. A system along the lines of Mass Effect 2 would be awesome! Press a button, and provided you're near terrain that offers some sort of cover, you snap into it.

The other thing I'd like to see is combining teams. For example, if you play as the Combaticons, you hit a button to combine (along the same lines as transformations). Obviously, these levels would have to necessarily be single-player only, but it would be an awesome addition to the experience!

I would like to see What happens after all the cybertronians leave Cybertron. That equates to super awesome space battles, and maybe even some missions on Earth.

A possible sequel needs a larger supply of weapons, weapons, and more weapons. It think having transformation upgrades would be a good call as well. As the game progressed you would unlock more transformations that would aid you in battles. It needs a vaster variaty of maps and possible secret locations. The game should be longer than the first and needs more interaction with the landscapes. Like when you would shoot a wall or the ground it would leave battle damage and craters. Introduction of more original G1 Transformers especially Wheeljack. The sequel story line should start off, with most of the Autobots having left Cybertron, the next saga would be them trying to find enough Energon to help power the Ark while the Decepticons are trying to whip out the rest of the Autobots left on Cybertron.

I wouldn't change a thing. The game itself is an amazing gift to us and we should not "transform" it to another thing. High Moon should "add" things. New characters and more abilities, if possible a better story, more classes for multiplayer, every color usable in both Autobots and Decepticons. These things come in mind at the first glaze but there probably more other things.

More varied combat tactics: more melee attacks, more destructible environments and interaction with cover, and squad command controls for when you're playing without other gamers for partners.

Direct continuation of the story, bridging the gap from the end of the first game to TF: Prime.

The combination of jet and ground-based characters' campaign missions, so you can play as any character in any campaign level.

More varied color choices when designing characters - I really want to make a red and black Decepticon!

Better melee and transforming controls. If pressing in the sticks has to be used for something, it should be switching between weapons or something more minor than attacking/transforming.

More health - this is probably just a personal gripe from my own level of sucking at the game, but the lower difficulty levels at least should have more health pickups, or health should regenerate more than it does, or something. It was too easy to die in a lot of instances in the game.

A longer campaign, maybe 20 hours worth of gaming on one playthrough of the story (for both factions combined). Definitely keep the separate but linked storyline setup from the first game - that was awesome.

Another Stan Bush song to close it out!

seeing as it ended with the ark being constructed i think missions where you travel through space with attacks from Decepticons which lead right into crashing on earth, it fast forwards you to the present time and you do missions on the earth. Closely relating to the tv series but at the same time putting their own ideas into the game.

Also a little more to the choose your side, it was nice that the Decepticon Campaign led into the Autobot Campaign but it didn't really give you the choose your side if you wanted to experience the whole story. I think in the sequel it should be you can choose to play an entire game as an Autobot or an entire game as a Decepticon and depending on which side and how you play considers the outcome. Still be able to play both but not necessarily to complete the entire story. Hope that makes sense lol.

Also a better level up and point system for the online, it seemed kind of difficult to rank up with the points you earn early on. I could only imagine how much harder it gets later on towards prime :X. Otherwise they should keep the same transforming guide and i thought the weapons were great (but more would be better ;])

    Story:

I would like to see the new game pick up from where WFC left off. The remaining Cybertronian refugees are in space looking for a new wolrd to call thei home until Cybertron can repair itself. While looking for a new home they encounter troubles along the way. They are attacked by other aliens or space pirates from the galaxy and also some Decepticon units are in pursuit of the survivors to ensure that the Autobot cause does not arise again and come back to Cybertron. Megatron will be with this group and he leaves Shockwave to comand the forces on Cybertron. This game will be the story of survival and how close the free Cybertronians and Autobots come to the brink of extinction. They struggle to keep the fleet together as they become separated from attacks. There is also struggle between the Cybertronians and the Autobots. The Neutrals blame both the Autobots and Decepticons for the destruction of Cybertron and they don't want to be involved anymore... they want to be left alone to find a new home, but the Autobots feel that they need to stay together if they want to survive. Their conflict does not get physical but there is a detectable amount of disagreement in descisions and slight hostility between High ranking Autobots and Neutral Leaders. The game wil take place on may different planets as the fleet lands and tries to resupply or find a new home. At the end of the game the Autobot command ship, The Ark gets sepparated from the Neutrals and they run into the Nemesis. Megatron and the high ranking Decepticons are on the ship and they attack the Ark. The last level is a major fight between the two ships and the last cinematic of the game will be of the two ships being fataly damaged and then there is a scene inside the cammand bridge of the Ark when an Autobot states that they are on a collision course with a planet and they are going down... the camera tracks the two ships entering the atmosphere and when the ships pass the screen the camera turns to reveal a blue and green world.

... It think you know what planet it is. ;)

    Gameplay:

    - I want there to be two campaigns like in WFC, but instead of one happening before the other, they happen in tangent. One for the Decepticons to see their point of view of the pursual of the Autobots and one for the Autobots trying to survive and protect the Neutrals while looking for a new home. The end battle (between the Ark and the Nemesis) will be a boss battle with two parts. Each faction ending will be able to play on that factions ship. The end level will be a mutiparter... the first part is taking command of ship guns and battlein the other ship and enemy flyers/assault ships. The next part will be a character switch to one of the units that has landed on the enemy ship and you job is to take out the bridge.

    - I would like to see an expanded weapon selection system... I would like to see the ability to make a melee weapon a selectable weapon that can be held by the character at all times if chosen to. You should also be able to pick up different melee weapons off the ground.

    - Multiplayer deffinately would need a better customization system. I would like to be able to use chasis for both sides. (i.e. - OP's body on Decepticon side to make Nemesis Prime) I would also like to see the coloring go more in depth. There needs to be a color wheel with a brightness slider to get tha maximum amount of colors that exist. There should also be more areas of color selection. Also make a head swap feature.

    - I would like to see the use of all characters (DLC, unlocks, ect.) to be used in the campaign once completed.

    - Bring back Escalation and make it so that you can play it offline and on splitscreen so real tangible friends can play with you instead of having to find someone online. And if your playing by yourself or with a splitscreen friend make it so that the additional spots get filled in by AI.

-I would want to see more of Cybertron, like different areas and also variations to how they look
    -More boss battles
-More selection of character, not limited to which level
-Ability to create your own online match
-Better matchmatching system so a level 0 person will not be up against someone who is level 20 with all characters
    -Longer game

I would like to see some combiners. They were hinted at in the first game, but never did come to fruition. I would live to see some Superion action, maybe against Devestator. It would be cool if online you could play with your friends as each part of the combiner and then combine to form one of the massive hulks.

    war for cybertron part 2

I would like to see a story where Prime and the Autobots, have to go down to the core of cybertron to stop Megatron / Decepticons plan and learns about the female Autobots, Arcee, Elita-1,(ETC) and you get to fight along side of them, he learns more about the Matrix, and of older Primes, Alpha Trion, etc...... They learn the use of an ancient Space Bridge, to goto Earth, and see that they have Crashed there in the future. (kinda like they did in the end of Beast wars), and they learn of the 2 planets Unicron and Primus, and somehow use the Space Bridge with the female Autobots to travel around to these places (see above) to stop Megatron from putting together an Awesome Weapon, that he found plans to while destroying Wheeljacks LAB..... thx

I'd like something a bit different. Spoilers ahead in case anyone hasn't beaten the game.

I'd like it to pick up at the end of WFC, after the ships are launching. Have a brief cutscene in one of the Autobot ships, as Decepticons from another ship fire on it and board it, then have the camera pan out and show this is happening to numerous other Autobot ships all around them. Most of the ships end up crash landing on different planets. At this point, it goes back to the original ship that was seen at the beginning that is now crash landed on a distant planet, and now gives you the option of being with the Autobots or Decepticons on that planet. After you beat that level, you rebuild your ship and search for survivors on other planets as whatever faction you chose. You go from planet to planet, gaining troops for whatever faction you chose, and fighting not only TF's, but also hostile aliens. After going to about 9 planets, your crew ends up landing on earth, where Optimus Prime, Megatron, and all the members of the Ark and the Decepticon crew that infiltrated it crash landed. The final battle ensuses, and at the end, everyone has died, most irreparably, but a few just wrecked enough to be put out of commission...for 4 million years. ;)

Gameplay-wise, I'd say to add a few puzzles in to break up the non-stop action of WFC. Local co-op would also be a huge plus, as would a better online experience. Keep online XP, but also add in XP to the story mode. Other than that, there's not much I'd change about the basic game model, WFC was a wonderful game.

Though riding giant slugs while using their mounted back turrets to blast all the Decepticons in sight was one of the most awsomest videogame levels ever made there is still one thing that could top it.

    GIANT PETRO RABBITS!

War for Cybertron 2 would be the greatest game ever created if we could fly through the double (almost triple) rainbows of cybertron on a giant Petro Rabbit that could shoot laser beams out of his eyes and fire balls from his ears on are unsuspecting enemies.
