I was thinking that too.. He just looks terrible.
I think the Takara Prime looks more like the G1 toy AND the cartoon. If you look at pictures from the show and the movie it's a much darker blue.

The Hasbro Prime is just ugly IMO.

He does have possibly the best Transformers head sculpt I've seen.

I don't see them extended in your pic either.

Masterpiece>any line ever.

 

Mine was delivered yesterday and left with my next door neighbour... Who was out all last night and the car still isn't there today. If shes gone on holiday again I will NOT be pleased.

Is it the done thing to break into someone's house if what you want is yours? Hmmm...

My Prowl arrived today he looks so, so good. Great gallery! He looks great in all the photos.

 

If you have the abdomen piece angled properly the back pack plugs right in with little to any force

 

Received mine today along with TG Metro. The paint apps is flawless and I find him better looking than the previous Autobot cars. Only issue is I didn't buy 2 of this guy.

Beautiful images   MP-17 has to be one of the most photogenic transformers figures i've ever seen,can't wait to handle mine tonight....wait that doesn't sound right lol

 

i think this figure more than any other Alt/Masterpiece style figure is giving me a bought of the "What ifs" on Bayformers having been say 50% more G1ish then they were...  

 

He's pretty wonderful, but have any of you had any difficulty with some of the tabs sticking, particularly when transforming the head? One of the two tiny tabs that hold his head piece in place have already broken on mine. I also worry about the effort it takes to tab the chest into the ab piece.

 

Lining that ab piece up just right is tough, since you need to fidget the ab panel forward with just the tip of a finger to get it into the right slot. Or just leave it as is and put the chest down comfortably - the backpack tabs won't stick in that way but it's not noticeable.

I keep forgetting to fold his clever wheel wells under, I'm afraid I'm going to damage those!

mp prowl shoulders

FYI my shoulders came reversed. I am going to try and flip the forearms and then the shoulders and hopefully not ruin the figure. has anyone else seen this problem?

 

I transformed him the first time and it all tabbed perfectly no issues. That doesn't usually happen for me. I like this guy so much I bought a second.

 

Wowsers... gorgeous figure. I'm SO pumped for Smokescreen now.
