News Post: TFW2005 Coverage Of Toy Fair 2019 Hasbro Investor Preview Event
WFC Netflix series? I’m hyped.
So, with Netflix behind this, it might not suck like the Machiima one?
Wait, apparently Rooster Teeth (RvB and RWBY) will be behind this.
Dude, the people who made Transformers Prime is doing the War for Cybertron cartoon? I get that it may not be the same writers, but the animation could be spectacular to look at if it’s Polygon Pictures again. Man, this could be awesome! Imagine a world where we have two great shows, an impressive looking comic, a movie series with new potential, and an amazing toyline all at the same time! It’s a good day to be a Transformer fan.
Thank goodness I have Netflix, hope this show is great as I am in need of one
I just want to see more Siege figures hopefully they\'ll show more hopefully the Rumor Astrotrain and other Decepticons
Need for speed reference.
With Polygon Pictures and Netflix behind the War for Cybertron cartoon, I think we potentially have a good animated series on our hands. I can’t wait.
And Hasbro Pulse is having a pre order and “See Now Buy Now” thing this weekend. Hopefully they’ll have some Generations (either Siege or Studio Series) figures up for purchase.
I\'m curious if the armour is transferable between Cyberverse toys of the same play pattern either by faction or not so long as they are the same size - if you can\'t do that that would make the gimmick somewhat less interesting to me - though I do like Bumblebee\'s rediculous warship armour.
Otherwise it seems a bit fanw*** to me to put cheetor in the show. It does seem that the show is merrily waving bye bye to any connection to the older shows though.
Otherwise - it\'s interesting for what he doesn\'t say than what he does. As what they mention is sometimes the stuff you can never see in a shop and the stuff they ignore is what people are clamering to get.
For the WFC Netflix show I hope they have Polygon do something cell shaded, but grittier than RID15 in tone.
Oy, I hope their stupid drama doesn't affect the show.
This Toy fair is looking good so far. I gave up on Marvel Legends once they hit the $20 price point, but the potential of the classics re-done has me curious, although all of my money belongs to Transformers, and I wouldn't want them to get jealous.
And for the Animated WFC on Netflix..YES PLEASE.
The future animation projects look interesting, especially if it involves Netflix, Rooster Teeth and the animation team behind Prime!
I'm overjoyed to see that my dream of a Transformers series done by Rooster Teeth has happened. I've been a big fan of their content for a couple of years now, and hope to see some amazing stuff for WFC. An added bonus is Polygon Pictures helping out with it.
Netflix Transformers series? Let me aboard the hype train!
Rooster teeth? the guys that made those dumb Halo machinimas?
The writers of ruby and genlock and animators of prime? Heck yeah!!!!!
\"The origin story of Hasbro\'s Transformerswill be told in an all-new animated series debuting on Netflix in 2020. The series is being developed by Rooster Teeth and the animation studio Polygon Pictures, with Transformers: Combiner Wars writer F.J. DeSanto in as showrunner.\" - as mentioned at newsarama.com
F.J. DeSanto as showrunner on the new show? That`s sad, it`ll be best to have very low expectations in terms of story quality for this show. On the good side - even if this show will be a crap on par with Machinima`s TF trilogy it will not dissapear from official online distribution in a way Machinima`s TF trilogy did.
My only hope is that there`s an error in newsarama`s article and F.J. DeSanto won`t be hired as showrunner but - at best - he will be hired as coffee runner for some more competent writers who will deliver a high quality storytelling into this new TF series.
I don\'t really bother with Netflix but seeing as a new Transformerd War for Cybertron is being shown exclusively on Netlfix, I might as well make an account on there.
