News Post: TFW2005 Coverage Of Hasbro Toy Fair 2020 Investor Preview Event
I wonder whether those investors are also thinking: Too many slides!!!
Dang it. Got my hopes up at \"new console game\". I see it\'s basically a mobile game on Switch aimed at kids.
Why do they hate us when it comes to providing us with quality video games? We\'re served in every other facet of Transformers entertainment but we\'re not good enough for a AAA mature video game?
i can already tell "Doom of Cybertron" does not feature nearly enough Latverians.
i can't wait for the reveals. but when can't they give us a good video game?
Just seen this in my feed
Transformers Tiger Electronics Handheld Video Game - Entertainment Earth
I will own all of those..I LOVED those
I'll take a new Transformers game, especially if it's on the Switch. Sure, it may not be the game Certain Affinity is developing, but if the gameplay is good, and there is a large character list, it'll tie me over. I wonder if it's a paid or free to play game...
Also, the fact we may finally have our first look at Netflix's War Of Cybertron has me very excited.
Got my hopes up at the mention of 'Doom of Cybertron' on the switch but yeah, it looks like another glorified mobile game.
I reeeeally wish they could at least get WFC, FOC, and Devastation relisted on online stores.
Believe it or not, this is just 3/4 of the slides.
The event went for 3 whole hours and the tour is starting now for 1 hour more.
I added Switch to the title.
Hasbro is punishing those poor people for funding them
Switch isn't "aimed at kids" it is aimed at fun. I frequently take a train as part of my daily commute, and it is FULL of adult men and women playing the Nintendo Switch. Transformers really doesn't need a Mature video game. It's a toy line. Games that come out are there to help sell toys. At most, MAYBE a T rating. Transformers should always be approachable to all ages.
I'm starting to have doubts about the next movie coming in 2021, it looks like it will be a 2022 release or 2023.I'm excited to hear more about The War For Cybertron Netflix Series, hopefully we get a trailer for it in the coming days. Lastly I'm Massively disappointed about the new Transformers game.
I’m staying open minded about the Switch game. Let’s hope we get a trailer for that soon. I’m guessing it’ll come out this fall.
It’s cool that we’re (hopefully) getting a trailer for the Netflix series tomorrow after an entire year of silence on that show. Let’s hope it’s good.
It’s kind of starting to get frustrating that we’ve gotten absolutely nothing in regards to AAA console games. The Switch game is nothing more than a glorified mobile game and nothing more. It feels like Hasbro allowed the contract (or deal or whatever you want to call it) with Activision to just expire and are just sitting on their hands when it comes to video games. What’s the deal?
Can we hope to see a "Was For Cybertron" trailer?
You'd think they'd make a game that ties into the WFC trilogy, and especially the Earthrise stuff, but...WTH? Last proper entry we got was Devastation, which was a solid game and all, but the IP hasn't gotten the love it deserves when it comes to murder simulators.
Ah well. You know, with a Beast Wars movie apparently in the cards, we haven't gotten a proper game there since that N64/PS1 fighting one. Just saying...
Yeah, I didn't mean literally mature as in "rated M for mature", I more meant a game that looks and plays in a more sophisticated way. Something that's not super simple or resembling a mobile game. Something with high end graphics and tight controls.
Doom of Cybertron is bassicaly MUA3, which is exclusive to Switch.
It’s disappointing about the game, but I don’t think a proper AAA Transformers game is possible at this time. Can anyone think of a talented enough studio that one would want to do it, and two have the time in their schedule?
Right? The moment the WFC Trilogy was back in 2018, I legit thought that Hasbro would’ve also made a video game to sort of tie into the toy line somehow. It’s disappointing that the video game portion of Transformers has sort ended on such a bland note with Devastation. I personally thought it was insanely mediocre. Hopefully something in regards to that game front Certain Affinity is going to be announced this weekend but I’m somehow doubting it.
