I'm on the Weird Al train. Though my bias tells me to suggest Disturbed as they did a song for the first movie. :p

Errmm.....Leftfield for Phat Planet (from Beast Machines)?

Weird Al is also a good call that I'm surprised has not been inducted already.

I vote for Anne Bryant and Ford Kinder. Their Transformers theme's lyrics form the basis for most of the subsequent cartoon titles and should have been acknowledged by now.

I'm still holding out hope that the entire G1 cartoon original score/background music will be digitally re-mastered and issued on CD and other media for download. I want the complete and clean audio of the Optimus Prime/Autobots fanfare theme soo badly!! If they win, there is a slightly better chance this may happen, I think...

    - Ford Kinder and Anne Bryant (Original Theme)

    - Lion (TF:TM Main Theme)

(And since I've yet to see him anywhere)
    - Robert J. Walsh, composer of G1 cartoon background music

This. Ford Kinder & Anne Bryant apparently has to be my vote, then, if Hasbro won't.

But Weird Al is more important because his song, that wasn't even composed for Transformers, was featured in Transformers The Movie!!!!

What about Johnny Douglas? He did most of the season 1 music.

That's like saying Linkin Park deserves a BoH nomination for writing What I've Done before it got used in the 2007 film...an award for doing absolutely nothing to deserve it.

Weird Al deserves the nomination not because the song got featured, but because it defined an entire sub-group of the franchise - the Junkions. I'm pretty sure he also did the accordion work when Animated Wreck-Gar played a few bars in Animated S2.

Robert Buckley, composer of Beast Wars and Beast Machines themes and background music. Some of, if not these best, music in all of Transformers. And I'm not just saying that because of the 20th anniversary.
