How did we go from "no mention of Sam" to "Sam and his parents are dead".

Also, "Nemesis Prime" has been used for a tonne of random shit over the years, to a completely different Prime from Optimus to a man-made clone.

I meant the name isn't random enough to be a last minute placement. I just thought it would be a better name to be used in marketing than simply evil Optimus or Shadow Spark.

Simmons whole apearance is standing at a public phone, talking and trading information with Burton.
And Topfoot/Leadspin is like a hipster nearby, I forget what he actually says, he's like "Just finish up your call! Come and play basketball with me already!"

 

Ok I have to know. Is Hot Rod a main character? Or is he just used in a few scenes and tossed away like most of the other non Optimus or Bee bots? About how long is he in the movie itself? Thanks!

 

So we see Topspin, but I also heard that Roadbuster is also in that scene. Is that true?

Burton has a room that contains everything about the Witwickan family, Sam's ebay avater photo is there too, framed.
So he knows Sam's existence.
He doesn't say he's dead, but he does say no one else in the family is still alive.
So he knows Sam and his dad are both dead. And Sam's mom...well, no one cares, probably good as dead.

 

How long does Bee speak with his real voice in the film? 5/10 minutes?

 

5 mins on screen would be a looooooooong speech.
Only 2~3 sentences, something generic like wake up Prime this is not you etc

What about Bee's new abilities? How'd he get em?

 

No explaination. Appears only once at the beginning of the film, just as everything we see on the trailers.

At least my two boys make it through the movie alive. That was the only spoiler that really mattered to me.
