Grappel (or Grapple for the G1 fans) is really well done. The remolds make him feel like less of a reuse of the Inferno mold, and the fact you have some remolding so he can take the clip system weapons helps loads.

He is a brilliant toy, and well worth picking up.

Make sure you get Lugnut too though - he's another awesome toy.

Would have looked way cooler if the boom arm came over his shoulder. Nice to see our galleries building up.

 

Can't wait to get Grapple. Hope he shows up soon. Where can I get that gun and those missile launchers to arm him with?

 

Looks nice. Looks like a buyer unless if United gives back Grapple's Chrome Hook and brighter paint apps.

I love that they remolded a few parts to help differentiate it from Inferno. Your efforts won't go unnoticed Hasbro! High Fives all around!

 

Looks great, still not sure if I want the United version or this one. Might get both, one as Hauler will be my excuse.
I want the orginal version of this mold as Hot Spot/Hot Zone now, please Hasbro/Takara?  

 

BBTS have had him. Can't say about store sightings. He's in at least two cases ne with Lugnut & Strafe and another with Lugnut & Deep Dive

 

He's one to a case on the Deep Dive assortment, I can't say for sure on the Strafe assortment.

 

He's also one per case in the Strafe asst too.

We shouldn't see any shortage of him or Lugnut. If they would only start showing up at brick and mortar already!  

 

That's not a remold.

 

To my eye the bars look chunkier on Grappel. Inferno's are too narrow to get a good lock on with a C-Clip

 

Super excited for Grapple. I missed out on Inferno, and this mold looks awesome!

 

I tested it. The bars are thicker on Grapple. I put the same weapons on Inferno, they don't clip in just sit over the rungs and fall right off if you move him. On Grapple, they're solid, you could pick him up and shake him and they'd not come off.

 

Well that settles his color then. I used to be worried that he's actually yellow instead of orange, but he looks only a shade off from G1 Grapple. RTS version for me all the way.

 

Thank you Hasbro...finally an update to one of my favorite G1 characters...now give us a Hoist and Trailbreaker please...
