I can't remember, has hasbro said they're releasing these stateside?

 

Blue was intended for release in Reveal the Shield, but was canceled. Red was never confirmed but must have been planned somewhere up the line.

 

Sweet! I've been waiting to see some really good shots of these guys.

 

I paid around $100 for this set, well worth it. Takara did it right, and I wasn't going to wait around till Hasbro ruined it up.

 

74.99 @ BBTS . . . are these worth more money than the Perfect Effect versions?

 

The Perfect Effect ones are much nicer.

 

Wish they'da released the guys stateside, even though I have the Rumble/Frenzy earphones. These guys are just AWESOME looking.

The chickens legs killed it for me. Plus it's too tall.

Paying more than $20 for that pair in my book is EPIC FAIL!

Perfect effect's version is much better but the price might as well be a billion.
Sad either way but I'll just stick with my G1 cassette regardless.

 

I paid $60 at RobotKingdom and while they are nice, I don't think they are worth the Dinero I paid. I wish they could had turn into cassettes as a bonus.

 

Based on current aftermarket prices, i find the 40 odd i paid for mine not too bad.

Paying $20 or less for them was always a shaky prospect since poor distribution on at least one of them was almost inevitable.

 

This is where I'm at. I thik they're really nice scouts, but even the nicest scout isn't worth $30 a piece at RETAIL for me.

 

I think that's the first pic I've seen of this figure without stress marks in the elbows from where the pin was inserted.

If you turn the backpack around, it does help with the proportions and the chicken legs don't looks so....chicken...leggy..

 

Great photos. Horrible figures. I appreciate the g1 nods, but they look awful.
Loving my Perfect Effect guys though!

 

We need KO's! They are more than justified in this situation where the company has more or less canceled them.

 

the quesetion is this, these or the perfect effect ones? neither turn into a cassette.. hmm..

 

Weren't these rumored to combine someway when they were first announced?

 

well, I was on the fence about which versions of these guys to get and it looks like this article has finally conveinced me to buy PE's versions. Thank God for 3rd party products.

 

Rumored, but there's no way to combine them. There's no combination ports or anything of the like.
