Thank you for writing this! I absolutley love cyberverse, and loved it since around halfway into S1 when it aired. The shows honestly pretty underrated.

Good write up. I’m still not sure about the show. Of course, there was a time where I had zero interest in Transformers Prime, Star Wars the Clone Wars, and Star Wars Rebels. Once I gave those shows a chance, I really liked them, so I have a pretty terrible track record on accurately determining a shows quality without watching it. I might check this out at some point.

    Very well put!

For me, I'm personally not the biggest fan of season one and early season 2. My only other big flaw with the show is the awkward transition from season 3's story base to the episodic second half.

I also agree with the 10-minute time slot and how it kept the punchy pace. From what I gathered, it seems like they had trouble finding there footing with season one, got a hang of it with season two, and nailed it for season 3.

On my tier list, Cyberverse went from C tier (mid-season 2)

I felt the same way about season 1, but the quest for Grimlock was worth it. I posted a while back that I loved how they dug into the lore and character index for this show, and its really paid off IMO.

Great post @Sol Fury!!! Now I'm actually curious about it, and it wasn't even really on my radar.

Do you even need watch Season 1? sounds like S2 is almost a different show....

Thank goodness. I've been beating this drum for weeks, especially since I finished the series on dailymotion. You can pretty much skip season 1 and 2 if you want to, and jump right into season 3 for a quick but fun ride.

As someone who watched the whole show, Transformers: Cyberverse starts at Season 2, Episode 1.

I think one or two in the first season. Just wrong place wrong time type thing. Barely characters. It's more bot based than G1 even.

Great article! Hopefully, this encourages other people to watch the show, as it is pretty enjoyable, and it does find its footing as you progress on.

Same here. Pretty much been saying it since season one. We see life on Cybertron like we've never had outside of comics. And the thread used to discuss this show is titled "Cyberverse is Trash" lol

Im trying to watch this, but damn the writing is so terrible. Plus 10mins long. Seriously Hasbro needs to commit! Looking forward to WFC on Netflix.

When I did give it a chance it wasn't for the predictable, one sided fight scenes! I like the animation more than I do this upcoming Netflix show. I just don't like the kiddie ass designs.

I need a Family or Mature version of Transformers. It's not like Hasbro is clueless... G.I.Joe Resolute was proof of this, yet quality has dropped with everything animated and live action ever since...

Skip season one if your on that nothing too much important and mid season 2 and the whole season 3 is perfect.

If anything, this is reminding me to get back to watching it. I stopped partway into season 2 and haven’t gotten back to it.
