Better late than never here is my Scorponok custom from the first movie. I think I pretty much nailed this one. The Character is supposed to be made from parts of Blackout, the Pave-Low Helo. If you look at Ben Proctor's Original art work you can tell. He has stenciled on warning and caution signs all over his Army helo gray thorax. With my painting I tried to get an aircraft gray that matched Blackout's look. I gave him a black wash and some rusting to give him that burrowing through the desert look. I dont know why I didnt paint this guy up a year ago.
Open claws I like the way you customized Scorponok and I had a question;how did you get the claws open that far?I tried it on mine but they wont budge and I dont want to break them.Thanx.
Very cool! I've never been a fan of the Scorponok deluxe figure, but repaints like this have always made me think twice about it! The details on this make it stand out, IMO. Very nice work!
Make sure they are rotated to the correct position. there are gaps in the hand/turbine section that allow for the articulation.
It works! I tried what you guys said and you were right, they dont break when you open them, the pins on mine are real tight so I thought they would break.
