So here is a nice detailed up Thundercracker for my buddy Plowking as part of a set of seekers I am slowly working on for him. Not a complete repaint as we didnt feel the need for all of the to be completely redone so this guy was panel lined with a nice blue Daler Rowney Ink through a Rapidograph and painted up all the details. He has new ankles so he can position himself better as well as the popular Neo Shifter arms. Thanks for looking.

Thanks bro, I had a hard time trying to figure out what to do with them too.
LOL Not long, I kinda finish a crap load of customs at a time, hate working on just one at a time.

With the neo-shifter arms, I prefer this mold than the new ROTF Starscream mold. The bot mode just looks tougher.

This is so true with me....I have ROTF SS....and yeah, jet mode looks great, but bot mode really suffers for it IMO.

The first movie versions (like this one) just appeal to me so much more, esp with the Neo mods done to it, and Tony put one heck of a paint job on him.

He looks way better than the pics show....I have him perched atop my Boulder Hill, ready to strike....he looks awesome :thumb

    Again, thanks Tony :D

really nice, are you doing all 6 "conventional seekers"? I have a set I am working on as well.

did you allow the ankles to twist? or just bend. I decided to make mine twist, instead of locking them into place.

I really need to get better at painting, this guy looks FABULOSO!

    Thanks bro! and
    LOL Thanks man!
    Thanks! Me too!
Thanks bro, I ruined the ones Plow sent me so I had to do them again. Dont get alcohol on that plastic!
    Thanks very much!
    Thank You!
No problem Bro! G1 Movie SS is underway... =D I totally agree with you too. Just played with the new SS and man the Jet mode is sweet but the bot mode is so weak. Cant belive they permanentally attached the rocket launchers on his forearms and made the hand only limp wrists. Dont get me started on the rest of the foo. LOL
I think so, ask the boss. I do have a Movie Conehead design in the works that I hope to have available for purchase as well. Didn't really think about the ankles and since his legs twist at such a lower portion more moving parts might have only made him weaker to stand. As for painting just take your time. =)
    Thanks!
    Thank you!
