It's finally done. I present Movieverse Leader Class Grimlock. He was made using an Oversized Classic Grimlock knockoff (the green one), a Neo-shifter, pieces from 2 TFTM Voyager Ironhides, TFTM Voyager Megatron, Deluxe Longarm, BW TM Megatron, and some various bionicle bits. The hands are the Evil Sentinel Prime Hands from fakebusker83 printed in 2 different colors (it was a fluke). The head was made using a TFTM Leader Optimus Head (front half), and ROTF Voyager Ironhide head (back half), some sheet styrene, and a neoshifter head. No parts have to be removed for transformation to either mode, though the tip of the tail does detach to become his sword. The sword also clips to his backpack in robot mode for storage.

Paint is relatively simple on this guy. Base coat was semi gloss black. Then, all the bits that are traditionally silver/grey were drybrushed with two coats of Model Master Silver, the end result being a dark gunmetal gretish color. The gold is from a paint maker, and was also lightly drybrushed with silver. Gloss red was then drybrushed on the dinosaur mouth, feet and tail tip.

Here's the link to the original WIP thread. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/416569-wip-another-grimlock.html

A very special thanks to fakebusker83. His Evil Sentinel Prime hands are exactly what this project needed!

Paint could probably do with a bit of a touch-up here and there, and I need to paint the underside of the dinosaur feet, but this one is FINALLY in the bag, guys!

Very cool. The thighs look a little skinny but I think that any thicker and it probably affects transformation.

Dislike the robot head and the legs are a little skinny, but other than that it's amazing.

Pretty cool, original too, great stuff! Not entirely sold on the head, which I think comes down to the visor - not sure if it's the shape, or because it seems a little too much "solid colour" - but still, excellent work.

I really like everything about this except the thighs being a bit too thin, even for movieverse. Otherwise, it fits movie style quite well and the dino mode is pure great. Nice show of ingenuity all around. Great painting too.

Looks great. I agree with the other comments on making it bulkier, but overall very good work. :)

Agreed on the skinny thighs, but hey, there are many movieformers that have inordinately skinny limbs. I never got over the fact how skinny Ironhide's arms are in is figures sometimes.

Glad the hands worked out for you. The size is perfect :)

The floor hit my jaw. Awesome!

See, this is one of the times when I wish I had something more intelligent to say, but am just left in a lot of envy.
