    I'd only just picked up the multi-regional blu-ray off amazon a few weeks ago.

    If this is any better quality wise, then I may have to ask around the family for it for xmas. :D

    Have the original VHS and DVD, a blu ray and now this new version on pre order.

    Can never have too many choices I suppose...although I dont have a vhs player anymore!

    It should be an improvement. It's a new scan at the very least. Shout! Factory usually does a pretty good job with the sources they're given to work with, and I doubt they'll be using the older MPEG2 codec like the previous UK and Australian Blu-Rays.

    It would be crazy cool if this version had all of that extra footage of the bots that were killed off-screen that people always talk about. Also, if Magnus was quartered like in the comic instead of just falling apart.

    Iirc, those sections were never animated. There's some story boards for Magnus getting quartered I believe (included on the anniversary edition DVD I seem to remember), but I don't believe anything exists for the season 1 and 2 cast slaughter. I believe that was only a discussed plot point, but not taken any further.

    I'm in. Hadn't bought it on Blu Ray yet, since there were some issues I'd heard of on other releases. So this is a must for me. Love TFTM.

    So will there be a version available with subtitles for the non-English speaking market? I own a copy with Dutch subtitles, but without any extra content. Would be nice to have the possibility to watch the extra features (and movie of course) with subtitles with younger family members.

    I would love to get the UK version in a remastered blu ray format. Doesn't look like this is it. Will it ever happen?

    Others may have noticed this, but I have watched TF the movie a million times, I can recite the entire movie without watching, and on the blu ray I noticed that the dinobots were on the moonbase when lazerbeak was spying, where they are manufacturing new weapons, never noticed it before, I feel like a food for not seeing it before, weird, was worth the buy for me, lol.
