I have a TFTM Barricade modded with the horn whistle lights like Jin Saotome's. But I saw this version on youtube.

any ideas as to what he used for the chip? I want multiple modes for my barricade!!

 

I don't know what chip that is, but I am using a CMOS 4060 chip for mine.

No "modes" but I will be driving 4 lights, 1 red and 1 blue strobing about the "pursuit speed" in the light bar, and 2 white ones in the headlights strobing at the slower "cruising" (I think that's what he called it) mode.


I am having a heck of a time trying to figger out how to upload video (I still have my motorized Springer video update to upload), but when I do I'll be happy to post.

Back on topic, this guy did a great job if he put the rig together. I like it!

Thanks! I think the main issue was my antique computer had no firewire card, so I'll be getting that taken care of! 

 

oh so you are using an actual video camera. doesnt your point and shoot digital still camera do video?

 

Hah! My digital camera is older than my pc! It will do video, but with no sound, so it makes video reviews and updates impractical. My video camera is digital though, with firewire out, so I just need to get the pc card.

 

Sounds like it is time to get a new digital still camera haha.

 

At the end of the vid it says light-up wand from divisoria. I've been looking online to no avail.
