I was thinking he meant about a quarter of the way through watching the Matrix of Knowledge, you hit select. Wasn't working for me though, but I was on a PC. I will try it on my DVD player later.

Based on the clues, I'm guessing the easter egg is the storyboards or rough animation (if it exists) of the cut Ultra Magnus "quartering" scene.

I turned on the Matrix feature and visited both the UM "death" scene and the "I can't deal with that now" scene and found nothing.

I also looked around Arcee and Springer's dialogue of "Did we have to let them detonate 3/4 of the ship", etc... but again, nothing.

    Found It!

First of all, I don't know if this is only with my computer, but I don't think it can be found using your DVD-ROM; only on "normal" DVD players (and PS2s, which I have).

Watch the movie using the Matrix Of Knowledge feature from the Bonus Features menu, until you get to the scene on the Planet Of Junk where Galvatron orders the Sweeps to terminate Ultra Magnus (you can simply skip ahead to this chapter). A little box will pop up, reading, "Ultra Magnus was originally bound with energy beams and quartered." When this little box pops up, hit Enter (or Select). This will play an "animated storyboard scene" (or an animatic, if you prefer) using the storyboard art set to the sound of the movie, so you can imagine what that scene really would have looked like (also taking into account Ultra Magnus' screams while Galvatron is growling, "Die! DIE!!!").

Exactly one of the places I was trying, watching it on the PC...I had a feeling I had to do it on an actual DVD player.

    Thanks for the info

So I had the right idea, just not at the right part. I thought Paul's clue meant litterally at the point where Magnus says "I can't deal with that now"

It's much like the Original comic book adaption of TFTM.

The Diaclone commercials rock, especially the one with the fleet of Diaclone Ultra Magnus flying in the sky and on the road.

Does anyone know how to get the disc 2 easter eggs to work without a DVD-Rom drive?

I can get to the Lite Brite one, although it's kinda tricky. You go to Special Features, and you have to highlight "Main Menu" by using the left button only (not sure if you have to do a full circle around). Once "Main Menu" is highlighted, hit the up button, and a Decepticon symbol will appear.

I have no idea how to get the other one on the same screen to come up, without using my computer. If that's the only way, I kinda consider that cheating on their part, but oh well.

Does anyone else find the blurred out faces on all the kids kinda creepy? There was a recent episode of Doctor Who where this TV monster steals peoples faces, leaving the victims with a blurry head, and it didn't look all that different from these commercials... *shivers*

I was able to see that one by luck but even using your method was not able to see it again. I still can't find the Autobot insignia or get to the faction insingnia's at the main menu on disc 2.

For all the Easter Eggs except one, you have to do complex steps (I don't think they wanted people finding these :)  ) So here's the instructions for those that can't find them:

    Disc 1:

    Diaclone Commercial:

    On the Main Menu
    Highlight "Play" then press Left,Left,Up,Left,Left

    SDCC Intro:

    On the Setup Menu
Highlight "English 2.0" then press right

    Ultra Magnus Death Animatic:

Watch Movie in "Matrix of knowledge" mode, press enter when pop-up box talks about UM death scene

    Disc 2:

    "Reflective Sticker Commercial"
    On the Main Menu

Highlight "Scene Select" then press: Up,Up,Right,Up,Up Either the Autobot or Decpticon symbol will get highlighted

    On the Bonus Features Menu

Autobot symbol (BB PSA) Highlight "Video Gallery" press Right then Up

Decepticon Logo (Lite Brite) Highlight "Activate Autobot City" press Left then Up

I feel like I'm playing the Sega Genesis again!
