it's funny because the pin got put in, so there's a pin but nothing on it.

Mine also has all of the QC issues. Very disappointing...I'm sure FP will point the finger somewhere else. I'm sure Starscream will be the same way as well.

starscream probably wont have the rear wing problems because he has different rear wings. What's the best way to pry those legs open btw? can we get a guide on that?
I used a razorblade, worked really well for one foot but the other took alot of prying. It seems to depend on how easily the part near the foot seperates. Don't have anything to knock those pins out to swap the wings. I just take the wings off and put them back on to transform him for now. Would heating the pins and pulling the pieces off like with wheels work?

yeah, his wings are different, but the connecting joint piece is the same, and from the in hand pictures so far, it appears to be improperly installed, just like Nacelle.

Has anyone heard from the TCC yet? Just curious, not expecting a solution.

I'm waiting on attempting to fix the wing hinge. I don't have a pin punch and would be hesitant to just shave off a small piece to allow for clearance.

What kind of outcome are people expecting? I'm sure they are aware but you can't possibly think they will run off new figures, don't think that's something that's in the budget.

This whole situation is unfortunate, to put it mildly. Ordinarily, I'd still be excitedly wondering when my Nacelle was going to arrive since I don't have it yet. Now, i'm not even in a rush considering I know what to expect when I receive it. :(

I'll save my excitement for after I ship mine out to AutobotSDG and get a report back of a clean bill of health after he performs surgery on Nacelle. :)

With Nacelle, you can crack it up to poor QC, but at this point, knowingly shipping out Starscream if it does in fact have the same wing issues is pretty poor IMO. For just under $300 (plus shipping, optional insurance, processing fee), the customer is the last one at fault in these circumstances. If it isn't in your budget to fix a production mistake either before shipping (or better yet, before acceptance of the merchandise), that is on your end, not the customers end.

In the end, any statement would be nice.

Adding to that, that you are a licensee of a $9.44b company where you are using their trademark, IP, characters, history, molds, brand, etc., and it is something that really should have some options available to you before you ship a second defective figure to the customer.

Am I just the worst at spotting issues or do both of these starscreams look fine?

It's hard to tell. The rear wings look fine, but the hinges connecting the main wings are black, so I can't tell perfectly on an image that size. It looks like they still have the same problem to me though. Something I find particularly funny about g2 starscream though: the original toy had the g1 decepticon symbol.

Yea, looks like it is likely reversed and a little mold flash (which Nacelle has) is being captured in the camera flash in those shots. Some of the sample pictures of Starscream someone posted earlier have the mis-assembled wings. Maybe someone who got one of the taobao (or other auction site) samples can confirm one way or another.

Got mine all banged up from the USPS. Scratch on the back of it :-(

Going to contact Funpub first, I hate having to file through the USPS.

Both issues are present on the large wings, and Nacelle's rear wings appear to be upside down too. The issue is easy to spot, because the connector piece (black on Starscream, red on Nacelle) is a smooth surface with the wings when installed incorrectly, opposed to a mostly smooth surface with a cut in the plastic to allow the plastic to bend around it. Bummer that this is happening, cuz otherwise these toys look great.
