Well as someone who has all my LDs loose and displayed I'd hardly call you crazy. Sky lynx displays really well.

 

I haven't had any afas but just about all of mine were sealed until I got them in my hands.

Those are WAY too expensive, even if there's only like 2 ever. $2,000 is too much for a shiny Classics Prime repaint.

 

I do.......it would be the equivalent of paying top dollar for a MISB rare figure and opening it immediately thus depreciating it. TF shouldn't be considered "investments" but if you're paying premium for it in a guaranteed condition anything you do will alter the condition. This is just me but if my intent was to handle (somewhat) and display (mostly) I would pay one of the guys over at Radicons to make me a custom that would look as good and be cheaper.....but my collection doesn't include anything uber rare. That's only really good if you want the look without the bragging rights. jmo

 

I must be blind I dont see a classics prime. The prices are not stupid crazy when you think about how much it cost to afa these but they are higher than they should be.

The only one there that interests me is the Black G1 Tracks. I'll own one someday, I swear it.
And I'll open it and proudly display it.
