Universe Galvatron he looked so cool in the package and the pics of his bot mode looking so close to the original galvatron i couldn't pass it up , but during transformation he falls apart so damn easily (might just be mine, thought it was til i came on here) so he just stays in one mode or the other
None so far, but everyone's collection here absolutely dwarfs my puny one, so, guess i just haven't had the opportunity to have regret yet. Poooossibly Uni Sideswipe b/c of the whole hasbro qc switching the hands on me, but i do love the way his alt mode looks, so i'll just keep him like that.
The few figures I did pick up from the Armada line. Luckily I got around to selling most of them off a couple months ago.
The only ones I really "regret" are CDF Hotshot...because I got botcon Springer like 2 months later which is a much better use of the mold and Movie Leader Prime and CC Bumblebee. While the figures are great in and of themselves. We're getting such better versions of both of them this time around that I'm kicking myself cause I know I'll get them too. I personally put a lot of thought into the TFs I buy. They either have to look *really* awesome, or be able to fill a specific "function" (so to speak) in my TF army. I've gotten things that at first I wasn't too keen on, but after actually owning them, I was completely happy with the purchase. The one that springs to mind for that situation the most is definately Deep Space Starscream, since I already had two versions of that mold I really didn't need a third. But he was just so shiney...oh so shiney
Movie 1 Jolt Movie 1 Longarm Movie 1 Leader Megatron (especially after seeing how much cooler ROTF Megs is.) Movie 1 Divebomb 'bot mode is all kinds of awful.
TFA Jetfire/Jetstorm. I'm trying to spread as much hate for the really terrible execution of these toys as possible!
I agree with this one too. Looks great in the box, but not so much out of it. It is a shame because I was really looking forward to this figure when it first came out. Prime's truck mode is awful and barely holds together. They made it more complicated than it really had to be. On the flipside though the trailer is IMO the greatest G1 Prime trailer ever, too bad the figure sucks so hard I have no use for it.
Not regretting up to the point I want to get rid of it, but looking back, some disappointments in my collection are: Movie Premium Barricade. Already had the original one, had to feed my plastic crack and found this one. There's not much premium to him. Universe Galvatron. Ok, I got him as a gift so it's all cool. Plus he DOES look cool in both modes. Transformation and pieces falling off are terrible, though! Movie EvacOutright UGH. Not even going to explain this one. I'll tell you this though: it's not the colorscheme, it's the mold that is pissing me off.
Most of Animated, Voyager Movie Megatron, Robovision Optimus, and the Movie toys I bought on impulse like quite a few of the repaints and the Robot Replicas
Universe Hot Shot and Cheetor. Many of the movie figures, especially with the upgraded versions coming out. I'm thoroughly satisfied with my Animated figures, though.
The bottom of my Transformers barrel? Well, let's see: Universe Galvatron, Energon Stormjet, Titanium Megatron, Altenator Sideswipe, Movie "Brawl", SW Crossovers Boba Fett, Movie "Classic" Bumblebee and Energon Demolisher. Those would be the worst o' the worst.
