they havent shown it on resent TF shows! but then again maybe they will in season2 might season3??!?!?!
Because showing Orion Pax would mean they have to model another character (or more accurately 3). So what character would you want to forsake just for a flashback scene?
Considering the description for the season finale ( Spoiler "Jack learns more about Optimus' history on Cybertron while the Autobots continue their battle at the Earth's core." ), we may very well be getting some flashbacks.
There's no guarantee he ever used to be be Orion Pax/Optronix in the Prime universe. He might have been always called Optimus, with the title Prime coming in later. I don't Orion Pax has been used on television since 1985? Still, back on subject, I agree with what FNG said.
I believe the writers have said that Prime is supposed to take place in the same continuity as Exodus, correct? I think Orion Pax was his name in Exodus...
And I can claim to be the king of England. Doesn't make it true. Or to put it another way, just because Exodus used it and Hasbro claims there are in continuity doesn't make it true. WFC is also supposedly in continuity and there he was Optimus before being a Prime. In short, lets let TF Prime tell us what his name was before Optimus Prime.
