He's dull, boring, generic, doesn't do much, and a waste of potential!

I hated it that he was the main bady at the end, it's just obvious. He never wowed me.

    Glad he died.

I liked Prime Unicron, I think the Unicron trilogy version was the worst.

Unicron in general is the worst. But yeah, TFP really fumbled the ball with him, like, totally.

I liked his concept and the voice was good, but the execution and timing was lacking.

    Very lacking.

    He wasn't even in Cybertron.

I agree, Prime Unicron was the worst-handled of the Unicrons.

I would be offended by you saying bad things about the Unicron Trilogy but, to be honest, UT Unicron was pretty bad.

Prime Unicron suffers from the same thing as most of the things in Prime: he has a good concept (I personally liked the idea that he had transcended his physical form) but the execution on that concept was terrible.

I agree, Prime Unicron was a bit shit, I mean what was he? he was the Earth's core and all we saw of him were ROCKS and a BROWN STAINED MEGATRON.

But my ultimate least favourite is the Unicron Trilogy Unicron, he didn't speak and didn't move half of the time, just stood floating in the same position whilst some poor fuckers were fisting each other inside him.

G1 Unicron is the best, EVER. He was menacing and acted like a legitimate Transformer.

Well their's the deluxe toy that turns in to a tank and he appeared in that form in the FunPub comics.

I like the show but I agree Prime Unicron did suck, his only legitimate saving grace was his voice done by John Noble (I really love how godlike he sounded, in fact he's actually my personal favourite voice for Unicron).

I think G1 and Armada are the only times they ever did Unicron well, it's a shame because after seeing Mako Crab's Unicron Theory. I want to see a truly amazing Unicron again.

Unicron is a concept that so clearly existed for a movie. He's simply to big, too ridiculous.

Whaaa? His voice was awful. When I heard John Noble would be voicing him I about shit my pants. Then when I heard him he sounded like grandpa tryign to do a big scary monster voice. John Noble has such a smooth, yet unnerving subtlety to his vocal performances. He sounds not only intelligent, but like he knows everything about you and what it means to you. Unicron's voice was a joke, and further proof that one of Prime's biggest flaws was not the voice actors, but the voice director.

Having Unicron as Earth sounded like a cool twist, but it was really dead on arrival. There was nothing he could've ever actually done because doing so would destroy Earth immediately. So he was stuck doing pretty much nothing.

Plus, they brought him in too damn early. Unicron is a flawed concept, but he can almost be salvaged as long as he's used properly at the right time. Not season 1's finale.

Literally no conflict after that felt substancial, because the biggest threat had already been beaten in the lamest, cliched way. Because you can't defeat him any other way than using the Matrix (which had never been established before that) because again, planet. So he gets shut down by a macguffin. It's so lame.

To be fair, they were trying to be a bit more realistic with him, where he's so big he can't move very fast.

But it also made him even more ridiculous. He was supposedly planet-sized, but moved around like a normal guy, and ships and jets flew around him like he was only just really, really, really, really big. Which wasn't a problem except, well, he was supposed to be a planet-eater. Who was also a planet.

I liked the concept of TFP's Unicron, becoming Earth, but I don't know...something just doesn't snap with him, like it felt incomplete when they were finished with Unicron after Season 2's intro.

    The voice sucked too.

Corey Burton in his Zeus voice from the God of War series.

John Noble's take really clicked with me but I think Corey's Zeus sounds far more wrathful and godlike which is how I'd prefer Unicron to sound.
