I don't think I've used that many emoticons since I saw Decepticons emerge from the moons surface. These episodes look absolutely brilliant! Can't wait until they come out!

I'm gonna jump on the band wagon that says this thing ain't the actual Unicron. Not necessarily another character, but more of a giant avatar. I dunno, maybe that's just me taking the eyes in the sky as a hint.

 

agreed; the colour scheme and texture look the same too. so at the very least, i think it's safe to say that the face & the body belong to the same dude...

i think it's Unicron too, cause yeah the face definetly looks like his; HOWEVER, to play devil's advocate: yes Optimus does say his name, but it doesn't necessairly mean he's the big bad rock guy. this would go along with the idea that the big rock thing is an avatar or minion of Unicron's, and Unicron is just a face floating in the air lol

i'd also like to point out that people can't just rule him out as Unicron because of his size. characters are altered/changed from series to series yknow.

OH and i almost forgot to say... I CAN'T WAIT EITHER. god it's killing me!!!!!!! i haven't seen a new Prime episode in ages....gah.
plus, i don't think we've seen the last of Starscream. he'll make an appearance in there somewhere..... i hope  

off topic, but i loved this comment. maybe we'll have a Optimus vs Soundwave "Battle of the Bands"-style fight, like in Animated lol

 

cool! i kinda like that unicron isnt the size of a planet, it will probably him a lot easier to fight

There's three characters behind Prime that look the exact same. I don't think they're Vehicons, although they sort of resemble Bumblebee IMO.

 

So they are showing the three episodes over the next three weeks and not all at once?

 

The statues in the back? Yes. Maybe inside or under the volcano is some kind of "shrine" where Unicron sleeps.

 

Ah, hadn't thought of them being statues. That seems likely.

Yes that's true, in the background, behind Optimus they look like guardians, statues, or followers.

 

You may never know. We haven't seen Omega or the Ark, so it could be anything.

I thought that its too soon for Unicron to show up but if the title is Unicron and Prime saids its Unicron, I guess it is.

I really hope its not it would spoil everything.

I just saw the captions of the future episodes of TFP, I don't see Starscream. It would be interesting if he would show up.

 

dudes, the huge robot (arms aside) looks like a giant, rusty megatron. just look at the shoulders, body looks like his back, and the legs are sort of simmaler to!

 

Guys can we get past this not being Unicron? The head obviously belongs to the same robot and when we zoomed into the volcano we saw his head. Optimus even freaking calls him Unicron!

Don't say anything about size, that can be changed for the new continuity.

 

Yeah, noticed that too. Wonder what's up with that. But then it looks like he has wings behinds him, which fudges with things.

 

Why does everyone keep crying about his size? It's a brand-new continuity, and besides, having a planet-sized TF on the show would not only be unfeasable animation-wise, but having Earth be Unicron would just.. fuck everything up, for lack of a better phrase. It looks like the animators already pushed their ultimate limit as far as Unicron's size. Maybe he'll get bigger, maybe he won't. We don't know. But the franchise will not be ruined forever if Unicron turns out to be 1/10th of his size in this show.

 

I for one have always wanted a TF series where Unicron's body is EARTH ITSELF.

Just imagine. A series built around Decepticons attempting to revive Unicron, an act which would immediately destroy all life as we know it on Earth and endanger the entire universe.
