Which Bot with the huge backside do you prefer, TFA Bulkhead or TFP Bulkhead? Me, I like both.

 

Animated Bulkhead. I loved his love of art and his relationship with Sari was well done. He just seemed like a big teddy bear.

 

I Would Go With Animated. Since he voiced by Patrick Star, and knows about Mayo as a Instrument.

Because I really, really need it to describe my feelings for these stupid TFP vs. TFA comparisons lately.

 

Prime Bulk because of his cool vehicle mode.

But I still pay my respect for the Animated version, even though I didn't see much of TFA.

 

TFA. Felt more three dimensional.

Whenever I watch Animated after a while and see Bulkhead I go "...yup, this is the better character." Compare any TFP character and their TFA counterpart and I'm going to like the TFA version better. All the characters were more fun and/or developed.

 

Prime, without a doubt.

Animated, but voted Prime on the basis I didn't look hard enough at the polling options and assumed TFA was the one listed first.

Transformers Animated. He was a unique and lovable character in that show. In Prime, he's just the tough guy and is at times too childish for this show.

 

I prefer principal lewis, so TFP please.

 

Just because he was turned into a human in one episode (lame, btw), doesn't make him fleshed out.

Animated Bulkhead was a stump. Prime Bulkhead has a much richer history (we learned a bit between the episodes with Wheeljack and Tox N) and is not a total nitwit.

They make one liners about him being a veteran and a construction worker vs the ENTIRE episode we got of Animated Bulkhead in boot camp who was an energon farmer wanting to be a space bridge technician, along with the revelation of him becoming a space bridge genius later. Prime Bulkhead's history is totally more rich mang

TFA Bulkhead isn't dumb at all. Did you watch the show? Then you'll know he's one of the few Autobots to really get into art, and he's a genius with space bridges. People just think he's dumb because he's big. All he ever wanted to be was a space bridge technician, and his only friend, Bumblebee, threw away his own life long dream of being in the elite guard to make sure that happened. We got an entire episode dedicated to that, actually seeing it happen. Seeing their relationship develop, and really feel it when Bumblebee sacrifices everything for him. We see bits of this referenced and expanded upon before and after that as well, along with his knowledge with space bridges being integral to the plot of season 2 and beyond.

Prime Bulkhead has a rather generic history. Used to be a wrecker, big soldier man, big deal. Seen it all before. Nothing rich about it. I still like the guy, but he's shallow as hell.

 

TFA Bulkhead: A fun art loving brute that's secretly a smart guy who has the best knowledge in space bridge technology on whole cybertron.
