Wait, aren't you that guy who made the 3D-printed gobots? If so, do you have those for download? I'm just curious, because those designs were impressive, too.

I am using an anycubic photon printer. I think that it is better suited to miniatures and gaming pieces, but for the print quility and price and ease of use I love it. The build plate is quite small, but the tech will get better, and bigger.
I did indeed make the gobot guys there. Due to life stuff sneaking up on me, I was never able re print a few parts to check fixes made. But now I can get back to it. I will for sure be able to share the M.P. scale version, which needs screws and 1.5 mm dowels, and the chug scaled version which will snap together.
The Cop-tur still needs some fine tuning.

So I am chopping the parts up so that the high wear areas can be printed in a more expensive resin, nylon or abs. I swear everytime that I think that I am done with this bad boy I realize that I have weeks worth of modeling to do still. lol(not complaining) The left one is the new print.
    (sorry for the picture quality)

The front portion is held on with a screw from underneath.

Then I did the same for the toesies. on the left is the new design with the "friction insert" that will be a better material.

and just for fun, here is Solo in carbonite, 1:3,465,8254,64537,576,867.765 scale!

    and...

I said it as a joke, but I think that this printer could print a fly swatter for a barbie doll! I intend to find out!

Just more chopping and printing... The two parts for the head will be broken up further, to allow for replacing the small pegs for the mandible thingies if they should break without having to reprint the entire head.

***Quick update, went home on lunch to check on the print that I started at 5 am this mernin!

Just some more pics. Set this print up last night.

    [IMG] hs2.jpg hs9.jpg

I also did another a re-design of the head in order to have the main attachment ball joint screw into the head, whilst holding the small side ball pegs and toothy thing in.

    hs8.jpg hs5.jpg
The small ball peg and toothy thingy insert from the side. If the small stuff breaks the head can be taken apart and the part replaced without having to reprint the entire head.

    These parts are printing now.

***edit*** Ran home on lunch to grab the re designed head parts to give em a test fit. I am happy.
    Here's some quick dodgy photos.

Also could not resist popping some of the body parts together!
