    So this renders the entire last episode completely pointless and renders this episode entirely filler as we know
    Megatron succeeds in getting the formula from Ratchet
    so that must mean that this entire episode will be a waste of time unless it leads up to
    the main battle in the finale
    however we know that will be utterly pointless as we know the outcome is
    Megatron dying, Cybertron being repaired and Unicron taking over Megatron's corpse

    So in short... out of the final three episodes, the first two are utterly pointless and the third we already know the outcome of... :/

    Somehow the Autobots get the formula and the trinkets, juice up Cybertron killing Megs in the process.

    True, but I'm pretty sure Megs would have told him to keep an eye on him, just in case. I mean, surely the Decepticons can't be stupid enough to believe that Ratchet wouldn't try, I don't know, sabotaging the formula, stealing the formula, escape...

    It's just common sense...

    You could have just avoided the spoilers and enjoyed the twists as they go. You choice the elswise and also decided to be angry about it.

    I'd like to think that what he threw in there wasn't vital to their research, but you know, if it was...

    This is on par with G1 Red Alert setting the Negavator to self destruct after coming to his senses. That was Plan A.

    Ratchet probably figured out what he needed to complete it and blew up the evidence so Knockout/Megatron wouldn't see. I'm sure he didn't blow it up without getting a good look at it.

    Since Knockout had to call the guards to open thr door, I'm guessing he's kept in the lab almost as a prisoner.
