So one day I saw this awesome digibash (seen here) http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-fan-art/936325-prime-depth-charge-vs-protoform-x-double-pack-digibash.html and I knew I just had to attempt to do it justice on the actual figure.

Depth Charge started as a TFP Beast Hunters Sharkticon Megatron and was repainted to try and recreate what I saw on the original picture. I went with a lot of metallic paint to give him more of a unique appearance, but countered it with some areas of flat gray. Then the entire figure was covered with a few coats of clear for a more durable finish. Thanks to CryoPrime for the great idea.

Is.. Is that Blood on the Knife of his gun?

Yeah I've been thinking this ever since the toy came out that it'd be amazing as Depth Charge and here it is and he looks fantastic, great job man!

Very fitting for Depthcharge to also be based on his arch nemesis body style. :p

This really works wonders as Depthcharge.

I know this is supposed to be Depth Charge, but I think I'm getting more of a TFP Sky-Byte vibe from this, why has that not been done yet?

Hate to rain on your parade but others have done this before. That said, yours is as good as any I've seen. I really need to start painting my figures. I'd love to make myself one of those

Beautiful bold colors, they look perfect, so much so that even the head works. Nice work.

the paint and work is great.

i think to take some of the aggressiveness out for a more depth charge look would be a new head and maybe sand down the teeth in alt mode for a smooth look, more like a mantaray.
