TFNation® - Blog Post
So you despise the two best TF seasons of the last decade.
What do you like? Energon?
So why do people care? I can write my own fanfiction.
I honestly don't know what that show is about. But it sounds like it's responsible for lowering standards if you're defending these last few TF cartoons.
I'll just stick with DC's animated direct to Blu-ray movies and Netflix's Voltron till Hasbro gets a clue.
After G.I.JOE Resolute, how in the blue hell could I take anything by Hasbro that followed seriously? That bar was raised too high.
I still can't believe all the loyal animated fans will miss out on this because of location. It's not right at all.
Heck, I just recently bought the complete series on DVD. So I'm paying for animated stuff. When I can get it. Can they not make it digital?
Nobody seems to care about this much either. I've seen very little mention of it around after the initial announcement. And no one seems willing to share it. After so many years, this is what I was waiting for?
Travesty. Outrage. Inconceivable.
So is this novel out or not? I did not see nothing, no one shares anything from it.
This comic is basically glorified fanfic. Neither of the writers were involved in the writing of the actual show.
I don't care. I literally do not care. Do you think we're ever getting a proper season 4 comic? Maybe in another 30 years. How long did it take regeneration one to come out, right?
I want to read this comic, and for them to claim it was "done for the fans" while having it as a UK exclusive is just disgustingly disingenuous.
It was an exclusive item available exclusively at this year’s TFNation convention.
I expected useless answer, so I am not surprised.
Of course I know it is exclusive item only for visitors of TFNation 2017. I just do not understand there is no review or several new pictures from novel.
It was based on the scripts for the unproduced season 4 episodes, released in the Alspark Almanac. So while it's unofficial, it's pretty close to what we would have gotten.
You asked if it was released, and it was, twice now.
This is no different from the BotCon comics only being available at BotCon, just that those were actually official products.
Found this at least.
Aesir's Written Word: TFNation - Animated: Trial & Error
Comments below are pure fun in sad way.
The UK are just better fans.
Are you going to complain about the fact we had years of UK exclusive G1 comic too?
How about the fact we got a few years of exclusive G1 toys as well after America gave up on the line?
This is just keeping up with the tradition.
Just read the comments on that site and some of the other ones here... wow the entitlement is strong with this!
Perhaps people should take their gripes to Hasbro/Cartoon Network. I’d have LOVED an animated cartoon season 4, but at least this great fanfic novel will suffice.
I can wholeheartedly say it’s fantastically written, and feels like TFA all the way through.
It's true, the UK DID keep the brand alive. And thus, we get the continuation of Animated, the TRUE Transformers continuity, whereas everyone else has to just deal with Bayformers and their spin offs.
To be honest, the rest of the Fandom should be thanking the UK for them even having a hobby to moan about anymore.
I still waiting for chance to read it somewhere, but I feel like everyone keep it for themself.
I love Animated and it is really shame it got cancelled before take it to true end. And it was almost first show with SG.
And here comes another one review.
Trial and Error - Annotated!
Energon was the worst Transformers series ever produced. I strongly disagree that Animated was 'bad' in any sense, but at least it had a plot and the human sidekick didn't make you want to murder them every time they opened their mouth.
Fine there's one act that stood out for me in Animated. And that's the part with TEAM CHAAR!
