I went through and matched each block color with a Seacon name tho, so marginally more fun then a shadow reveal.

 

Hey, colors have always been a big complaint about TFC figures, so maybe they're looking for immediate feedback to increase their chances of sales. Paging David Hintegen!

 

I'll wait and see if another company does these guys. TFC combiners seem to not like holding together.

Neat. Wayyy more hyped for Hades but hopefully they do a good job with ol pink n teal mc color vomit too.

Also have people who are making dumb/terrible/lame jokes actually looked at the protos for their first two Leo figures? cause they look pretty damn amazing to me. At least if they don't mess up the colors too bad they should deliver with that set.

 

If Hasbro did the same, everyone would be going nuts. Just be happy.

 

I'm excited for an updated Piranacon, but the difference is Hasbro would be going off the CW pattern so we'd have some idea of what to expect. With a 3P, there's really no idea what these could look like.

So I'm excited, but nervous, mostly because I know with Piranacon there's a lot of discussion about if the limbs "should" be able to turn into Targetmaster weapons. I'd rather see them focus on quality designs and stick with one guy as the designated gun, but even then there'd be disputes as to who "should" be the gun.

Meanwhile, trying to give every limb a gun mode would risk either very finnicky/breakable designs or a hike in expense due to engineering requirements.

 

Color swatches aside, i'm more concerned he's a unicycle.

Hades has legs at least.

 

So bold of TFC to use the cubism art style for their preview much better than the traditional boring old shadow sillihouette! This will usher in a new age of product pictures in glorious surrealism or abstract styles or perhaps even Japanese wood block prints! I'm particularly looking forward to seeing not-Raiden ala Pablo Picasso or not-Monstructor as interpreted by Walt Disney
