Those weren't that bad, really. They're tight and all, but I used a tiny screwdriver to wedge it out just enough to get my fingers on it. There's a little black indented dot on each peg so you don't go scratching stuff up.

Man they look good. I'm still kind of bummed about Liokaizer, I like him, and I think he's my second favorite TFC combiner after Hercules, but having to fix hips definitely dampened my excitement. I think I'll wait and see what the prices are for the set after all 6 are out.

 

Mentarazor is supposed to have 2 of the same gun.

 

No, they are supposed to have alternate tabs to attach together for his turret mod, mine have the same tabs and therefore can't.

Anyways, currently I have all 5 released, will combine Poseidon tonight, but my current rankings of the bots are:

1. Deathclaw
2. Big bite
3. Iron shell
4. Mentarazor
5. Cyber Jaw.

That's just them against each other though, overall all 5 of these are the best figures tfc has ever made, and rank pretty highly in my 3p collection.

I gotta get the tail out of mentra's box or maybe switch him out after the final limb comes out, not crazy about the balance there... or maybe I have him mis-transformed lol

 

Can't speak for Deathclaw as I won't have him until TFSource gets both him and Cynicus in, but Mentarazor's wings should be flipped (so the hinge for the cephalic horn is at the top of the wing). You could also rotate the wing tips on the ball peg. That way they'll sit higher and have some of that say upswept curve that Deathclaw's claw is giving you. And yes, the extra bit of the tail helps.

Also, feel free to put him however you like, but Ironshell is technically mis-transformed, too. His hips are supposed to be as in his robot mode, not his turtle mode. It'll force his A-stance to be a little wider, but Ironshell's feet will sit flush with the skirt armor and Poseidon will gain maybe half an inch in height.

Edit: Can the code be used multiple times on separate orders? I'd consider going in on the limb bots too with a deal that crazy good.

 

Meh... cuz there are peg holes for the wings to fit in as they are, which is also annoying lol

Oh yeah, and then ... insignia placement time! Couldn't get a logo on the shield because of the shape and styled spine

If you're talking about the holes on the black wing armatures that fit over the little white hose nipples, those still work if you flip the wings. You're not moving the black part, just flipping the white wings 180 degrees around the black part.

 

dang is warbo really that big i was just considering him but i think i'm back to passing on that group, Poseidon looks good with Rex and will look good with Ordin I'll pretend Ryu-Oh is their growing baby brother lol

so weve had Aries, Uranus/Caleus, Hades, Hercules, Promethus and Poseidon. Minus Trinity Force who hasnt been named yet in combined mode to my knowledge can we speculate what combiners could be instore from TFC with their Greek Gods naming game, like would TFC be willing to take a crack at Computron and call it Hephaestus, maybe Menosar Apollo, who knows

 

I will echo the sentiments in here and agree that Deathclaw is simply awesome!

One tip when going in arm mode. On the back of his side there are two sets of pegs. Use the double joints in the knees and get his feet to peg on the lower set of tabs. That way he gets the extra space for the 90 degree bend on his elbow. If you use the first set of tabs (the higher ones) as the instructions suggests then you only have a 45 degree bend which is not optimal.
