Man I hope so , would make my lifetime !!!
Charticon was my first TF convention. It was such a blast hanging out with everyone, meeting artists, seeing panels, and of course buying things in the dealer room!
I absolutely cannot wait for TFcon Charlotte! I can only imagine how many awesome vendors and guests will be there! As a part of The Audio Knights Theatre, I can say that many of us will be in attendance, too!
I've already got the wife's ok to go. It is looking like I might make both tfcon's this year!
I took my son to Charticon with me. We had a blast! We got to meet Paul Eiding, and what a gracious dude! I made him do the Colonel Campbell/Arsenal Gear "scissors" speech, and of course he's got it memorized to recite to fanboys like me.
If it wasn't for Charticon, I never would have met my partners in The Audio Knights Theatre (The Audio Knights Theatre | Bringing Comics To Life One Voice At A Time!), and I probably never would have gotten back into Transformers and comics like I have. And now, TFcon comes to my town, helped by Charticon members?!? Sign me up!
Having attended Charticon and TFcon Chicago, I can say that this show came at just the right time! Fans have been aching for another quality Transformers show on the East Coast, and with Charticon's retirement, and with Charticon's staff helping, this show will be the best yet! All of the staff are friendly, the panels and events run smoothly, and the atmosphere there...man, it's like everyone just GETS you! It really is a great experience, and I can't wait to catch up with old friends, make new ones, and geek out proper! As a proud member of The Audio Knights Theatre ( https://soundcloud.com/theaudioknightstheatre ), our group will be there in full force!
For anyone on the fence, I STRONGLY recommend going if at all possible. Charticon was a fantastic show and was very comparable to the official Joe and TF conventions I have attended. I have every bit of confidence that the staff will be able to uphold that lofty standard and even exceed it. You don't want to be regretting that you missed the best Transformers convention this year!
for all those that need a hotel room, call the hotel and give them the name of the show and the dates. its in the system and the rate is 149.00 a night. I was able to book from Thursday night until Monday am under the con rate

Excellent! I just booked my room, Friday to Sunday. Can't wait!
Got my room at Embassy Suites reserved Friday through Sunday. No depending on when the Panthers play, if they are at home, will affect what days I travel down and back.
Looking forward to going! Love that area!
May not do the whole weekend, but would love to make a day trip with some friends on that Saturday, since that'll more than likely be the main day. Looking forward to it though!
I will be there again, bringing almost 3,500 TFs for sale.
Deals will be made!
Clickable plastic will be sold!
Fun times will be had!
Bring plastic, cash and paypal! I'm taking ALL OF IT!
Charlotte Travel Discount | TFcon – America's largest fan-run Transformers convention – Charlotte, North Carolina
Less than 20 minutes away. I might need to swing in to this one.
I think I might be making my way to this one. Is it unusual or frowned upon to bring items to trade as an attendee?
Well, looks like the Panthers are away in Seattle that week, so I'll probably be coming down Wednesday and Thursday morning. Crash a cheap motel around Charlotte Thursday night, spend Friday doing a stadium tour hopefully and doing some shopping, then get checked into the con hotel Friday afternoon, do some drinking Friday Night. Do the con all day Saturday. Drink some more Saturday night. Do the con Sunday morning, then start heading back home.
I'm planning to attend. reserving embassy for friday and saturday.
Want to meet my Charticon friends again, just have a general good time celebrating Transformers. Meet people. Buy toys.
Looked at the hotels site and the dealer room and panel rooms are going have tons of space. This is the big time.
I am going to try to swing for this one.
